Thanks for all support we are giving our comrades arrested on June 25th. However we should
1. Prioritize safety first.
2. Understand that silence is a traumatic response
3. Do not pressure them to talk, instead reassure them with calm statements.
4. Accept that the story may come later.
At Fadhili Wellness, our framing with activists and communities seeks to move from 'What is wrong with you' to 'What happened to you? How do you name what happened to you? What can make you well again or better?' #WellnessIsResistance #HealingSolidarity
We define wellness as connection, joy, spiritual grounding, dignity, rest - not just symptom reduction. #HealingSolidarity #WellnessIsResistance
Wellness Pods are vital spaces for activists to engage in self care practices such as meditation and yoga. As tranquil spaces, they offer respite from our daily struggles. #HealingSolidarity #WellnessIsResistance
How do we measure success? Is it by 'results, outcomes or KPIs' only? What about holistic well-being? We are called upon to center rest, community and sustainability as essential acts of resistance. #HealingSolidarity #WellnessIsResistance
