🎄FESTIVE FYR 🎄
The Family Man
Join us as we marvel at a (apparently) 35 year old Nicolas Cage singing opera in his gruds and get a surprising amount of mileage out of the American pronunciation of Barclays Bank.
Merry Christmas

We’re open to suggestions for a film to cover on our upcoming Christmas episode. Any recommendations, stick them in the replies.
An underrated / under seen festive gem that is worth another look. If you can squeeze a Sasquatch in there, even better.

First day in about a month that I've not been either sorting out house move stuff or working, so I've spent a lazy morning listening to the @FYRFilmPod boys. So glad they're finally back! Been a long six months
Thanks to everyone who has downloaded our latest episode. Great to see that we still have listeners despite our inactivity. Much love.
If you haven’t listened yet. Get it here and drop us a 5 star whilst you are there.

🧛♂️ NEW FYR 🧛♂️
Much like the on screen characters in this week's movie, FYR is inexplicably back from the dead and revelling in the spooky shenanigans of The Monster Squad (1987).

In anticipation of the next @FYRFilmPod i saw babylon was on netflix so i gave it a go. This film is madder than a bag of spanners. Like a friday night up colne. Pretty sure the budget of 80 mil must have gone on that party scene at the beginning. Well worth a watch. 🤣🐍🐘
A new episode is imminent. This is not a drill. Please subscribe if you haven’t already…

🎥 NEW FYR 🎞️
On this edition we’re going back in time to 1920’s Hollywood as we take in Damien Chazelle’s maximalist opus, Babylon (2022).
Scale, ambition, debauchery, ultra violence, bodily fluids. This picture has it all.
