It has always been this for me. It always serves as a personal reminder that we can act accordingly and treat our planet with care if we want to.

I’ve asked this before but is there any historical event that is like the Opposite of 9/11. Like something so good that happened that it changed the world forever

I don't even necessarily agree that "The whole "look how cool I am" vibe clashes so hard with Monster Hunter", as much as I think that the WAY they're going about doing it is off-putting bc it just looks like something else w/ Monster Hunter BARELY slapped on.
TweetingGaruga@TweetingGarugaOct 26
The whole "look how cool I am" vibe clashes so hard with Monster Hunter I get that grounded hunters don't sell but maybe that should be a sign that gacha games featuring sexy/hyper cool characters flashing their asses and winking at a camera isn't a good fit for Monster Hunter

I mean at least THIS scenario could almost happen in Smash Bros.

This psychopath is back again and he's commissioning us to draw Sora from KH and Cloud from FF fighting Fatalis from Monster Hunter... Okay.

BTW can we talk abt how 2 of the most recent Digimon stories feature poor outcast MCs while randomly "namedropping" IRL populist movements as in-universe nicknames/orgs? (EGGS' partner called "Maga", Beatbreak party called "Golden Dawn" pre-launch, leader is former "5 Stars"?)

Context 2- When Beatbreak was announced, party was called "Golden Dawn", but was changed to "Glowing Dawn" before launch w/o any official explanation. As "Golden Dawn" are both IRL Greek neo-nazis and a major faction in Black Clover, both have been proposed as reasons.

Maga- The protagonist Suzumon is called "Maga" by his human partner Rindo as it is the first world they said and one they use often. Apparently, "maga" in japanese can mean distortion or wickedness" which would obviously be hilarious. xitter.cf/FabrizioART/status/211…

Maga" is the name of this little fella bc it's the first word it said. Funnily enough, I've been reading that in Japanese "maga" can mean confusion, distorsion or wickedness.

I don't know whether to hope Digimon realizes that they HAVE to change this for the French release or hope they don't and enjoy the fireworks.

💔 I am begging you to hear me. My family in Gaza is desperate for food, and my nephew Karim is suffering from brain atrophy. I am trying to find a way to help my family survive while carrying the pain of knowing that Karim needs care, support, and a chance at a better life. We desperately need food, clean drinking water, and basic necessities. Families are struggling to find something as simple as a meal. Parents are watching their children suffer, and every day brings more fear and uncertainty. And in the middle of all this, there is Karim. He is not just a name or a medical condition. He is my nephew, a child who deserves care, dignity, and a future. His condition makes this situation even more heartbreaking for our family. How can we worry about tomorrow when we are struggling to find food today? How can Karim get the care he needs when even the most basic necessities are becoming impossible to secure? I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for food, water, essential supplies, and help for my family to survive. 🙏 Please, if you can donate even €1, it could help. If you cannot donate, please share this post. Your kindness could help us reach someone who can make a difference. We are desperate. We need help NOW. Please don't let Karim and my family be forgotten. 🔗 Donate: [gofund.me/ca595b877] #Gaza #HelpKarim #GazaEmergency #SaveGaza

Fun fact, this is the plot of of the fan fic I had started around 2015. They same one where the protagonist rode a one eyed Rathalos and another MC heard Old Fatalis "speak" to her.
ImAMissfitZ@MHFZZEnjoyerOct 23
If you think about it, thematically us Hunters getting so much stronger and starting to have nature be below us is extremely akin to the down fall of all civilizations in Monster Hunter. How much stronger do we Get Until a Dragon beyond us Kills us all and sends us back to zero?

To be precise, the plot was that a human hunter and scientist was experimenting with Frenzy to create a version that would affect Elders, ultimately trying to use the Fatalis trio to massively set back humanity & gain centuries of balance.

I'm genuinely confused about whether these people did not read/watch a single story that came out in the last century, or they actually did and just decided to become the villains.
Fabrizio- Primordial ART@FabrizioARTOct 23
It's so fking weird to be a late millennial bc I all the stories I grew up with thinking "huh that's a neat exaggerated and heavily stylized cautionary tale" are just the news now.
