Youth hoopers need to learn this skill immediately “Floating” or “rolling” the basketball allows players to legally abuse footwork rules to their advantage

I ran outta posts/limit responding to the herd who don’t understand basketball. It’s really nuts. A lot of people who never played the game and really think they know. What other profession do the auditors and interpreter of rules have zero experience doing said profession?

Float dribble. The ball is spinning in his hand. His hand is floating over the ball. This happens when you do in n out dribbles and you come off the screen and let that ball roll in your hand til you make a decision. You can take as many steps as u want.

Man I ain’t knocking nobody program but like 7or 8 weekends in the fall is a lot of games

It’s a breakaway layup. The ball is spinning in his hand, this has been done 1000x in a game. It’s float dribble, just forward. Anyone who has ever played the game knows this. On top of, it’s a breakaway.. who cares! The internet jockies are at it again

💯 and we practice the pocket dribble. But the internet fake trainers are teaching a carry. Cause they don’t know what that handle looks like. They didn’t actually do it.
The FOOTPRINTZ GROUP@FootprintzGroupOct 15
Maybe we are “bugging” but this trainer obsession with a “pocket dribble” will raise the turnover total for a lot of players..

NFHS sect 44 rule 3b. When both feet go in the air it’s called “jumping”. Now watch wemby jump off BOTH feet on this step th.. I mean TRAVEL. And go read the rule again. It’s common sense. Why would you not be allowed to dribble (rule c) and run w it, but you can shoot it?
