An Australian judge just let a violent rapist avoid prison time because he found that the culprit did not understand that rape was against Australian values and cultural norms.
What value do these type of people add to our society?

Just across the ditch, a historic church burned to the ground and someone’s been charged with arson. Are places of worship getting the protection they need?
Forty-seven people reportedly killed for their faith, and it barely makes a ripple here. Why do some attacks on worshippers lead the news while others get a shrug?
Nine people shot dead at a funeral, inside a church, while they were saying goodbye to someone they loved.
Why is this not being publicised more?
Thousands gathered today at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church in Hamoud, Karak, to mourn, pray, and bid farewell to the Christian martyrs of Jordan’s church attack. Families and mourners joined the funeral procession in grief and solidarity.
The nine martyrs were killed after gunmen opened fire on mourners attending a funeral at the church on Friday, October 23. They had gathered to say goodbye to a loved one, never imagining their own families would soon be mourning them.
Lord, grant our martyrs eternal rest in Your presence. Comfort their families, heal the injured, and strengthen all those carrying the pain of this tragedy. May Your peace surround the people of Jordan, and may the memory of these beloved souls remain eternal. 🇯🇴✝️🙏
For years we were told prices only go one way. If Sydney really drops 20%, who cops it: the first-home buyers who stretched to get in, or the ones still locked out?
Paralysed. That's how Ray White's chief economist describes Australia's housing market. Values down 7.6% since April across the big five capitals. Sydney down 9.8% (Cotality). SQM Research says a 20% fall in Sydney can't be ruled out. Fewer than half of homes are selling at auction. The worst is yet to come.
Seven kids inside while blokes in balaclavas shoot up the house. Fair dinkum, how is this happening in suburban Sydney and why do these crews seem to have no fear of getting caught?
ALBANESE’S AUSTRALIA: Moorebank home shot up and car torched with SEVEN kids inside, while the same street was firebombed less than 24 hours earlier.
Masked men smash the SUV, douse it in accelerant, set it alight and fire up to 10 shots at the house with a 32 year old woman and children aged 3 to 10 inside.
They film the whole thing, hold up a sign reading “You want to be a man, Welcome to a mans world!”, then post threats vowing to blow cars up and force the woman “out of the country.”
This is not random.
This is imported gang warfare playing out in suburban Sydney driveways, filmed, brazen, and escalating.
Under Albanese, borders have been opened, deportations delayed, and organised crime networks have embedded themselves in western Sydney.
The result, homes with toddlers become targets, balaclava crews operate with impunity, and police are left cleaning up after the fact while the Prime Minister talks “diversity” and soft on crime penalties.
Liverpool cops call it “shocking.”
The Minister calls it “sickening.”
Ordinary Australians call it the direct consequence of a government that prioritised mass migration over community safety.
No one injured this time. Next time the bullets don’t miss the kids.
Australia deserves an alpha male like Ben Roberts Smith leading this country, not a weak and spineless one like Anthony Albanese.
He has proven he cannot keep Australians safe.
A 19-year-old shot in the head just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. How’d organised crime get this brazen in our suburbs and what’s actually being done to rein it in?
Reporting on the aftermath of a mass shooting in Logan, Brisbane, Australia last night.
4 people seriously injured in a drive-by shooting. The gunmen dumped the getaway car in this paddock behind me and burned it.
One of the victims was a 19 year old innocent bystander who was shot in the head simply because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She remains hospitalised in critical condition, we pray she pulls through.
We’ve always had gangs in Australia but the ferocity and violence of organised crime has recently reached a new fever pitch. Multiple innocent bystanders murdered or seriously injured over the past year - targeted in mistaken identity attacks or simply hit by chance. Absolutely atrocious. What is happening to our country. We need a Lee Kuan Yew.
Should schools have to tell parents first, and who decides what counts as sensitive?
Yesterday my son sat through a class where his teacher told him some people were born in the wrong body so they were the opposite sex or had no sex at all. I wasn’t informed this was part of the school curriculum (although I know it is). In the recent past parents were required to give permission for an adult, often outsourced non teaching staff, to speak to minor children about adult concepts like sexuality and gender identity. This is no longer the case. It is now up to us parents to know what our kids are being taught and by whom. Often kids are scared to tell because they know their parents, or any other reasonable adult, would be horrified and they are afraid of their parent making a scene. We need to reassure those kids that won’t happen so they don’t carry any confusion or anxiety they might be feeling about what they were being taught.
Every time something terrible happens, someone blames video games. Millions of Australians play them without hurting anyone, so is banning a game a real answer, or a way of avoiding harder questions?
Open courts are how the public knows justice is being done, whoever the accused is. When should a court keep details from the public, and does fame make that more or less likely?
Accused domestic violence perpetrator Sam Wood tried to get the court to stop media publishing details about his alleged offending.
Wood faces charges relating to an alleged attack on his partner Snezana Wood. He is on remand in Queensland and will re-apply for bail on Friday next week.
Wood’s lawyers sought a non-publication order at Brisbane Supreme Court yesterday, that would see tight restrictions on journalists reporting on the domestic violence accusations.
The Courier Mail reports the court temporarily suppress names, addresses and identifying people named in the bail documents.
Wood's request to suppress the complete documents was denied.
It is alleged Wood pushed and strangled Snezana, preventing her from breathing. Snezana reported to police that she thought he would kill her. Wood is also accused of banging her head on the floor.
He denies the allegations.
He is charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, domestic violence and strangulation in a domestic setting.
He will re-apply for bail on October 30.
The NDIS is meant to support people with disability. Why does it take two blokes with a camera to raise this, and who’s checking the providers?
Was a public airport arrest really necessary and who made that call?
When Australian history and the Western tradition get squeezed out of the classroom, this is the kind of debate you end up with.
When I came 40 years ago from Greece I didn't go about telling Aussies how to be Aussie or that their culture didn't exist !! I was grateful that they accepted me to this great country they created.
I understand that this woman may not speak for all immigrants, but this trend of questioning Aussie culture is nonsense. Aussie culture and more broadly Western Culture has a rich history in arts, tradition and religion dating back thousands of years and our Australian culture is an extension of that ancient Western culture which still exists today.
It is clear that Australian history and western culture is no longer taught in schools anymore and now we see the fruits of that experiment.
Prime example why I do not watch the ABC.
Two community offices targeted in a matter of days.
What’s the actual plan to keep public-facing offices safe without walling them off from the public?
BREAKING: POLITICAL VIOLENCE ESCALATES, DAYS AFTER MP HELEN HAINES HAD BOTH LEGS SEVERED IN A “TARGETED” OFFICE ATTACK, A 56YO MAN STORMED WA LABOR MP HANNAH BEAZLEY’S OFFICE ARMED WITH NUNCHUCKS AND THREATENED HER STAFF.
Police say the man entered Beazley’s Victoria Park electoral office on Albany Highway around 1:15pm Wednesday, made verbal threats while carrying nunchucks, then was arrested in Bentley.
No injuries. No charges yet. Staff left shaken. Beazley wasn’t there.
This comes just days after Independent MP Helen Haines was hit multiple times by a LandCruiser outside her Wangaratta office. Her husband says she has lost both legs.
Driver Brendan Nugent, 43, faces charges including intentionally causing serious injury and harming a Commonwealth public official. Police say it was targeted.
Two attacks on Australian MPs’ offices in days. One with a 4WD. One with nunchucks.
Australia, when did this become normal?
A year on, seven charged over an alleged machete attack by four carloads of people. How do groups like this form and arm up without anyone stepping in, and what should change before the next one?
Seven young males have been charged over the savage killing of an African man who was allegedly hacked to death by four carloads of machete-wielding thugs in Melbourne last year.
