All month, Aidan Chiles has worn a pink durag on game days in honor of his mom, Nicole, a breast cancer survivor. As Nicole navigated her own health battle, she continued supporting Aidan through injuries, adversity and career transitions. Now, he’s honoring her fight with a tribute of his own. 💗 The pink may be a good-luck charm, too. Chiles has accounted for 11 TDs (6 passing, 5 rushing), thrown for 810 yards at a 72% completion rate and rushed for 161 yards in October. Northwestern has won four straight. Last week, Northwestern’s field hockey team showed its support, wearing pink AC #0 hats in honor of Chiles.

Northwestern K Jackson Kleather scored the first points in New Ryan Field history with a 50-yard FG. It was NU's first 50+ yard FG since David Wasielewski hit a 51-yarder at Air Force in 2002, and the longest in Evanston since Brian Gowins' 50-yard FG against Iowa in 1995.
