When you feel a bit rubbish you know you can rely on your nephew to cheer you up: ‘Auntie Deb? You’re so old you don’t have long until you go to heaven’. How old do you think I am? I said. ‘99 and you only have 5 years left’. Charming 😂
Long time no talk! Still exhausted, terrible back pain to the point of tears and just got news Kesimpta isn’t working for me. My hopes for this drug are dashed. Back to the drawing board 🙄
Ever since I had a ‘relapse’ 2 years ago it would seem my back is going to be one of my main weak spots. It’s constantly painful even with meds. I struggle with walking and now standing. I can’t remember a day where I was pain free ☹️
Currently going through the medical driving license renewal process. My license has now expired, I can still drive but I can’t deny not having a valid license gives me the fear in doing so 🚗
Imagine being at your doctors surgery and you are told you can’t make an appointment in person. You’ve to go home to phone the same person you just spoke to to make an appointment! Complete nonsense 🙄
How am I 3 years post diagnosis already?! 🤯 Yearly neuro review summary, bladder review and baclofen to see if it helps with the sporadic excruciating back pain I experience. MRI in the next few months.

Government backtracking and concessions makes it ever more clear: this bill is not fit for purpose, and does not even have the support of their own party.
MPs must vote against it!

Meg Hillier in the chamber talks about people being 'pushed into disability benefits'.
We are not pushed into disability benefits - you cannot be coerced into being Disabled! Disability benefits are there to support us to live independent lives in the face of an ableist society.

We’re in parliament asking MPs to vote against harmful cuts to disability benefits. ❌
PIP is a lifeline for people with MS, and this bill will push more people into poverty.
MPs must vote ‘no’, and #ProtectDisabilityBenefits.

Rachael Maskell's amendment will be voted on at 7pm. If it goes through, the welfare bill is dead for now. If it doesn't, they will then go to the vote on the bill
We urge MPs to support the amendment

Lumpy leg and arm this morning along with fatigue of doom. I think today is not going to be much fun 🥴
I contacted my MP @imogenwalker who cut and paste some bog standard reply yet answered not one of my questions. Before the election I personally spoke with her on this issue, ‘disabled people will always get my support, I’d never allow cuts’. She’s voting for cuts 🙄

I wrote to my MP about benefit reform. The reply is below. Not one mention of the trauma and humiliation that comes from the process was addressed from my letter 🙄 @Shrink_at_Large
It was second dose Kesimpta yesterday. Did it before bed, 2 paracetamol (tylenol) and slept through. Feeling okay today so seems like the way forward from now on 👍🏻
First dose of Kesimpta taken yesterday. I thought I was cruising then I got to the 6hr post dose, oh lord it hit me like a brick wall. Aches and pains, chills, itchy throat which continued into the night. Took drugs and tried to sleep. Today is a recovery day ❤️🩹
