I see how some people can watch flashy robot demos on the timeline and think with a shiver that the robot apocalypse is around the corner, but reality check:
There is no robot in the world that can change the batteries in a jack-o-lantern.
If you have a robot friendly door handle it might be able to walk outside, pick it up, and carry it back inside. The robot could open the drawer with your batteries in it, but then things get tough.
Opening the package of AA batteries?
Extracting a precision screwdriver from its case?
Unscrewing four tiny screws that require a hard press and twist?
Popping batteries out of the case?
Yes, you could build and train a specialist robot to do that today, but there is a very long way to go to replace the full range of human capabilities. Near term doomer scenarios should stop at “secretly controlling humanity” instead of “wiping humanity out” 😀

Binance dropped XMR in 2024; Kraken dropped it in the EEA. Monero kept producing a block every 2 minutes. Trading moved to no-KYC swaps and P2P markets like Bisq and Haveno.
A delisting is a venue decision, not a death sentence.

THORChain shares 20% of the fees on @SwapKitPowered swaps, and SwapKit turns it into cheaper quotes.
In its first 12 days, SwapKit routed $18.58M through THORChain, up 24% on the 12 days before. More routed volume means more fees shared, which funds more discounted quotes.

Democracy is the biggest hoax of the last 100 years.
It's a populist Trojan horse.
If we don't develop a system where only those truly invested in the future can vote, no civilization will remain.
The simplest solution would be to allow only married couples with children to vote, provided they live together under the same roof (If you get divorced, you lose your vote).
Families are taking the biggest risk: raising children and working to establish good conditions for future generations.
This would naturally include entrepreneurs; they are mostly family people.
With such a system, you remove roughly 30% of the population from voting booths, including almost 100% of the radical ones.
I don't have children of my own (except stepchildren), but I would happily give up my vote, because it's the right thing to do.
Give vote to those who have something to lose long term.

Three wallets now run dynamic fees on THORChain: @ShapeShift, @symbiosis_fi and @EdgeWallet. Each gets its own fee floor, pair by pair. Every epoch it moves 1 bps up or down and keeps the direction that earned more.
ShapeShift has run it the longest. Until early July it paid a flat 10 bps. Since then the fee moves with the flow, mostly between 2 and 8 bps, as each route finds its price.

devops.thorchain.org tracks every public task, with the next release pinned on top. Merge requests show their approvals and CI status, pulled live from GitLab. Every stagenet release candidate gets its test results posted, failures included, and the page shows what's blocked and why.
You'll also find the daemon updates node operators have to run, the Router V6 rollout chain by chain, the XMR launch checklist, and how many nodes have moved to each new version. If you follow the dev side, bookmark it.
