You do understand older models have been optimized so much now they already do. The reason we have a need for data centers isn't the models themself. It's the storage. And new models that do more and more complex tasks. But still more efficient than a human would be able to do.

This is why all the models that actually require compute power is on a usage/cost basis. And is still more efficient than having someone sit and do the same work on a normal desktop/work station.
