I got to hug a human I adore whilst there, whilst being a bit jelly of his cool linen suit.
Also, as is the way, I befriended a cat that hates everyone, and Kitty!
I also had a panic attack at work this week, which I’m still trying to process tbqh.
It’s not surprising that tensions would be high, or that stress levels would be off the charts, but there’s ways & means to handle that. And none of them involve everything that’s been going on

I would like to have a tiny brag about bulgur wheat with oven roasted rosemary and garlic tomatoes, fresh mint, cucumber, celery, and peas.

I had an idea that involved a recipe I’d read yesterday, a recipe I had saved from a couple of months back, and a skillet choc chip one I saved for when I had a skillet and an oven that worked.
Well.
@L_in_NZ has the skillet and oven, and this week I have the time.
So. Umm
This is a triple chocolate peanut butter hazelnut skillet cookie.
The sauce in the Pyrex jug is hazelnut chocolate peanut butter sauce, thinned with Lewis road creamery lactose free chocolate milk.
The only milk products in this is from the choc.
There’s 2 eggs & a yolk too

Which makes it 4 years to the day since City of 100 Lovers collapsed in a fire of unpaid cast and crew, underpaid suppliers, mildly shocked performers (literally), and chains across the venue doors.
I got to experience what it’s like to have a month to plot and tech a show, and three weeks of build before that.
I’ve done shorter tours, let alone theatre seasons.
I got to share a role on a show, which made a difference when COVID hit - we had that infrastructure. Ish
