Wow Emilia! What a great start to Year 12. Amazing smart speaker designs. Can't wait to see them rendered.
Another 200 visors delivered today. Community Nurses, @ECHospice, a few care homes, district nurses, @AlderleyEdgeGP and Macclesfield hospital outpatients. #MaccMakesMasks #Macclesfield Thanks to all that helped out today.
A massive thank you to Jason @SpiralColour in #Macclesfield for supplying us with his spare plastic at short notice - and sourcing us enough plastic for 4000 visors at cost price. We will be able to share this resource with 'makers' across the town. #MaccMakesMasks.
Thanks to Tunnicliffe Signs in #Macclesfield for donating plastic for visors and card for head bands. Enough to make 100s of masks for local frontline workers. We have passed your supplies onto Macclesfield Academy as well. @TunnSigns we thank you. #MaccMakesMasks.
Day 2 of operation #MaccMakesMasks. Thanks to the help of 'key worker students' we should have 200 visors going to Stepping Hill and 60 going to Waters Green medical centre in #Macclesfield today.
So it begins. The laser cutter is working at full speed. Making visors for local hospitals and front line workers. Great to hear plans are a foot to make masks in other places around #Macclesfield. #MaccMakesMasks
Are you making PPE for front line staff? Based in #Macclesfield? Can we work together to coordinate requests and deliveries? I have
a lot of requests for face masks and head coverings. #MaccMakesMasks Email me: fallibroome.academy/staff/mr…
So we start production of coronavirus visors tomorrow for front line staff. Local businesses - can you supply 350gsm card? polypropylene sheet? PETG sheet / A4 acetates for the visors? We are short of supplies. #Macclesfield #MaccMakesMasks We have requests for 100s already.
D&T Technician required. Do you enjoy making things? Good organisational skills? Fancy supporting our students design and make a range of products in the workshop?
Deadline 16th March 2020.
