Seinfeld's reruns have made Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David hundreds of millions of dollars. Jason Alexander, who played George, says he has made less than $200,000 from them.
That gap is part of why the show ended.
In the video below, Alexander explains why George, Elaine and Kramer stopped wanting more seasons.
In 1997, Seinfeld was the biggest comedy on TV. NBC offered Jerry $5 million an episode, about $110 million, for a tenth season. He said no.
Every year before the Christmas break, Jerry asked his three co-stars if they wanted to keep going. In season 9, they all said it was done.
Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards were not partners in syndication. The reruns would pay Jerry and Larry for life. Not them.
"Seinfeld wasn't going to be the annuity for us that it was going to be for Jerry and Larry," Alexander says.
Every new season tied them tighter to one character. "We were going to contribute to our own eventual demise as actors."
The case for Jerry: he and Larry created the show and owned it. The cast signed their deals and were paid well, reportedly $600,000 an episode by the end.
Before the final taping, the four of them held hands backstage like every week. They called it the circle of power.
Jerry said: "For the rest of our lives, when anyone thinks of one of us, they will think of all four of us."
Alexander says they walked out looking like they'd been hit by a truck.
So should Jerry have shared the reruns with George, Elaine and Kramer?

To commit the most unspeakable atrocities in Gaza, one of the worst crimes in human history, Israel and its apologists manufactured consent by promoting atrocity propaganda. The Hamas rape hoax was at the center of this campaign. Many journalists parroted it rather than doing the job of debunking it:

The Old Cornish Accent:
This video is a wonderful view into the old Cornish accent and spirit. This fascinating interview of 77 year old Cornish maid Emanda Billings in 1964 is a great insight into the everyday life of our recent ancestors. She was born in Victorian England (1800s), a world in which we've lost all connection.
The Cornish accent (also called Anglo-Cornish or Cornu-English) developed as local Celtic speakers shifted to English between 1300 and 1750, adopting regional West Country English while keeping a strong Brittonic language substrate. ⏳️

zios usually take out the audio when they show the clip of the the Bibas woman, but this guy didn't realize he was letting the world hear what the fighters were saying.
here's a glimpse:
"protect this woman."
"make sure no harm comes to her."
"let her know we have humanity [translation: that we don't harm women and children]."
"I wish I could speak Hebrew to reassure her that she will not be harmed by us."

***** Explosive news form Haaretz:
Netanyahu was warned and kept it to himself.
Days ago he blamed the Head of Shin Bet and others, that they knew and didnt tell him.
Their own soldiers knew there was something going on because they told the Knesset they could not understand why they were told to stay away from the border where they would normally patrol, for several hours that morning.
This whole thing is an absolute disgrace. These people care nothing about the safety of Israelis or Palestinians. Wot a ****ing mess they have made of things.
Did they in fact all know? Who gave the stand down order????

Much love to Alex Pretti and Renee Good—but remember—ICE has killed 9 people in 2026. You know the names of the 2 white people they've killed.
ICE has also killed a Black man named Keith Porter, a Cambodian named Parady La, and five Latinos named Heber Sanchaz Domínguez, Victor Manuel Diaz, Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz, Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres, and Geraldo Lunas Campos.
ICE is on pace to kill more than 100 people this year. Abolish ICE. Impeach Noem. Prosecute those who committed these crimes.
