We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder, Adam May, following his departure from Chelmsford City. 28-year-old Adam has extensive experience with over 100 appearances for EFL side Cambridge United, then more recently National League South game time at Eastbourne Borough in the latter stages of the 2025/26 season and Chelmsford City in the current campaign. Scott commented: “Adam is a very good signing for us. Having played the majority of his career in the EFL and NL, to get a player of his calibre here at his age would not be possible without the fanbase and size of the club. We have been patient, Andrew and I have worked closely on this, and Adam is a brilliant fit at a perfect time for us.” Subject to FA and League approval Adam will be part of this weekend’s squad at Chichester City. I’ve felt HP has been a bit down since the second game of the season. I feel if he gets that 1 opportunity & 1 goal, that’ll give him the confidence boost. Annoyingly, he’s missed a few “easy chances” recently, including one last night. I know he’s got it in him. #Romans ⚫️⚪️
