So State Attorney Generals it's time to HOLD these people accountable for their actions against your state
A federal pardon doesn't protect anyone from State charges
TRUMP IS READY TO PARDON HIS ENTIRE TEAM. DEMOCRATS ARE PREPARING INVESTIGATIONS.
Donald Trump says he is prepared to issue preemptive pardons to current and former members of his administration, including Elon Muskโs associates, even before criminal charges are filed. In an interview with New York Post journalist Miranda Devine, recorded October 30, Trump was asked whether he would protect his people from prosecution. โI wouldnโt even think about it. I would do it. I already did it for the January 6 people,โ he replied. On January 20, 2025, Trump granted clemency to roughly 1,500 people connected to the Capitol attack. Now he is considering similar protection for his own political circle.
Elon Musk was central to the conversation. Devine suggested Democrats might pursue the billionaire and even nationalize SpaceX. No concrete Democratic plan for such nationalization was presented, but Trump promised to protect Musk and his associates. Meanwhile, Democrats are preparing extensive congressional investigations following the November 3 elections. Representative Robert Garcia delivered a short warning to Trump administration officials: โHire lawyers!โ Potential investigations include Trump family finances, immigration enforcement, corporate relationships, Jeffrey Epstein, and Muskโs DOGE operation. Senator Ron Wyden offered an equally brief message: โSubpoenas!โ
Senator Elissa Slotkin has also called for accountability extending beyond senior officials to those who helped carry out potentially unlawful actions. She emphasized that the issue is criminal conduct, not political beliefs. And here is where things get interesting. Presidential pardons can cover federal offenses even before charges are filed. Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon in 1974. Joe Biden also issued preemptive pardons before leaving office. But presidential pardons have limits. They cannot erase state criminal liability, prevent civil lawsuits, or stop congressional investigations. Congress can still subpoena witnesses, demand documents, and investigate misconduct.
Trump can potentially protect associates from federal prosecution for past offenses. He cannot simply shut down congressional oversight. When asked whether Democrats might pursue Trump himself, the president admitted he did not know. Whether a president can legally pardon himself remains unresolved by American courts. The new Congress takes office January 3, 2027. Congressional investigators may refer evidence to prosecutors, although criminal charges require independent prosecutorial decisions.
Consider the extraordinary contradiction. The president who spent years threatening political opponents with prosecution is now discussing advance pardons for his own administration. The man who accused Biden of abusing presidential pardon powers is preparing to use those same powers to protect his allies. And one question remains unavoidable: If everyone in Trump's administration acted lawfully, why promise them pardons before anyone has even been charged?
No new preemptive pardons have been announced. But Trump is already preparing for a confrontation in which congressional investigations could become a defining feature of the remainder of his presidency. The president who once promised to drain the swamp is now considering using his constitutional powers to protect the very people whose conduct Congress may soon investigate.

The way people selectively edited this interview on social media was highly misleading. Hereโs what Leader Jeffries actually said:
Agenda = affordability and accountability.
Rep. Raskin and Rep. Garcia will lead on accountability in their respective committees.

Every day or so I take a peak a Fox News to see the latest MAGA spin. I actually read the articles rather than just the headlines.
My conclusion: The headlines are pure propaganda, spinning the news content to support a particular world view.
It amazes me how often the content of the article does not support the twisted headline.
Here's the song.

The administration is trying to make it easier to kill wolves in Colorado. Even though citizens voted to bring them back. ๐บ
On Oct. 27, Burgum signed an order to review how Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) decides when to kill wolves, and whether ranchers are being paid enough for livestock losses.
It also says Interior could change the rules so Colorado can act faster when wolves threaten livestock.
Colorado has about 45 wolves compared to its 2.5 million cattle.
The wolves are barely hanging on.
But Colorado is different from other states. Coloradans voted to bring wolves back, and the state built a plan around that vote.
CPW already pays ranchers for livestock killed or missing. Coloradans' tax money already helps pay for it. More than $700,000 was approved for 2025. The order looks at whether that's enough.
The review is due Nov. 11. Then the Fish and Wildlife Service hands Colorado its recommendations. That includes changes to the agreement that lets the state manage its wolves. Under Colorado voters' plan, killing a wolf without authorization is illegal. That can mean fines, losing hunting privileges, even jail.
In early September, CPW killed three young wolves from three different packs after livestock attacks. They say the ranchers tried to stop those wolves without killing them.
Why not just move them? That's been tried, and wolves don't know boundary lines. The answer isn't more dead wolves. It's teaching ranchers how to use nonlethal tools, and helping them do it.
It can work. In Idaho, a seven-year study found ranchers using guard dogs, people on the ground and lights lost 3.5 times fewer sheep than nearby areas that leaned on killing wolves.
Colorado's program is woefully inadequate. It has 13 range riders for millions of acres.
And the wolf issue is bigger than Colorado. Trump signed an executive order attempting to delist gray wolves and Mexican gray wolves.
Then Trump told ranchers they can shoot 'em. Rollins said they can't, because wolves are still on the endangered species list.
Nobody in Washington asked the wolves. They didn't ask Colorado's voters either. Speak up for the wolves. The review is due Nov. 11. Petition is in the first reply.
