Thought Of The Day✨ Dad was a professor of longstanding repute. His favourite pastime after retirement was going to the bank and getting confused by new technology. There was always help at hand. Everyone had been his student once upon a time. They would ask him to relax while they got his work done. He remained their respected “Sir.” Until one day, a new manager arrived. He had never been Dad’s student. He patiently sat Dad down and addressed him as “Mr So-and-so.” “Sir” was gone. Dad became the student again, eager to know his way around. He asked questions, learnt how things worked, and began doing for himself what everyone had so kindly been doing for him. There was still something new to learn. And Dad was ready. He could spread his wings again, like a butterfly. 😊💕
