Following the successful launch of Fasaha 4.0 Gina Mata, Gina Al-umma Program in Abuja last month, we are delighted to announce the kickoff of the Digital Skills Development Program across four states in Nigeria. Through 'Gina Mata, Gina Al-Umma', which translates to 'Building Women, Empowering Communities', 620 selected girls and young women consisting of secondary school girls in STEM, unemployed young women, female secondary school teachers, and instructors from tech hubs in Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, and Kano states will receive digital skills training and tools to help them break the cycle of unemployment, vulnerability to gender-based violence (GBV), and barriers to progress in tech. We're excited to see the positive impact of 'Gina Mata, Gina Al-Umma' on young women in Nigeria and are committed to continuing this work until all women have an equal opportunity to succeed in the digital space.
The Gina Mata, Gina Al-umma Digital Skills Development Program is powered by @NitdaNigeria, @WBG_DigitalDev, and @Natview_NG.

Really excited with the partnership with @WBG_Nigeria around digital development through the Fasaha 4.0 Gina Al'Umma project implemented by @Natview_Ng, we have seen how young women from FCV communities have been able to break the barriers to digital access and market place participation, driving new models of economic upliftment through integration to the remote gig economy and the new opportunities connected to emerging technologies around data, digital content creation and crowd sourcing. We have seen the models around integrating curriculums, digital infrastructure and self paced learning drive the objectives of resilience and inclusive growth.
