Ima always love you. Sorry that I failed yall. Miss yall everyday of my life . I’d rather not experience having a lil family at all than having one and losing it. Sometimes shit just don’t go how you prayed for it to go.

Ray Lewis telling this story …. And Jacoby being in heaven just put tears on my face fasho. God real
Former NFL linebacker and Super Bowl champion Ray Lewis shared his testimony about the time God told him to touch his teammate, Jacoby Jones, before the second half kickoff in Super Bowl XLVII. "The night before the Super Bowl, I re-tore my tricep. I couldn't go to the doctor, I couldn't go to my teammates. What was I gonna tell them? That I can't play?" the former Baltimore Ravens linebacker recalled. That is when Lewis heard the voice of God. "A whisper came to me, 'It ain't about you; it's about the team.' And I got up, and I walked into that stadium. I came out of the locker room, my arm burning so bad, I'm running toward the sideline. My arm is burning so bad. God said, 'Go touch Jacoby.' I turned around and put both of my hands on Jacoby's chest, and I said, 'I'm just doing what God told me to do.' And I ran back to the sideline, and I watched Jacoby go 109 yards." Jones scored the longest kick return touchdown in Super Bowl history that night, as the Baltimore Ravens won Super Bowl XLVII. This is not a story about Ray Lewis being the hero. This is a story about Ray Lewis being obedient. He re-tore his tricep the night before the biggest game of his life. His arm was burning. He could not tell his teammates. He could not go to the doctor. He had to play through it. And in the middle of that pain, God whispered: "It ain't about you. It's about the team." Lewis did not understand what God was asking him to do. He did not know why. He just obeyed. He turned around, put both hands on Jacoby Jones' chest, and said "I'm just doing what God told me to do." And then Jacoby ran 109 yards for the longest kick return touchdown in Super Bowl history. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Ray Lewis did not need to understand why. He just needed to obey. And God used that obedience to write history. Have you ever felt God prompting you to do something you did not understand? This is what obedience looks like when it costs you something. Ray Lewis was in pain. His arm was burning. He had every reason to stay focused on himself. But God said "Go touch Jacoby," and Lewis obeyed without hesitation. He did not ask why. He did not second-guess. He just did it. And God used that one act of obedience to produce the longest kick return touchdown in Super Bowl history. That is the power of listening to God's voice and obeying even when it does not make sense.
