To add to this very good tweet: I think a big feature of the Mtg resource system is the fact that often when you are very far behind there is the possibility of your opponent drawing 4 lands in a row and thats how you get back in, Lands in mtg give you hope
Was disappointed about no modern changes. Thought things through on the flight and I understand the decision, hoping they will make big changes on November 30th. I am really unhappy with the state of the format.
Today's update to the Banned & Restricted list impacts Competitive Brawl play on MTG Arena.

Went 2-3 with this in the Sunday, i am fine with any of these cards leaving the format, I will not miss them
0-3 drop at RC Gent with Jeskai Energy, kind of happy with the list and my play, got a little unlucky and unfortunately there are more broken things to do in modern

Suggested by @FatcasterMage: my current Boros Energy approach for the rise of UR Prowess.

RTs welcome!
You are still unsure what to play at your RC?
I have developed a simple system to calculate how good a modern deck is.
MH1 cards = 1 point
MH2 cards = 2 points
MH3 cards = 3 points
just count up the points and chose the best deck (only first modern legal prints count)
I think it's crazy that the community sentiment does not really consider Eldrazi Temple for a ban. It is by far the best card in the deck. Cards like Mycospawn, K Command and Emrakul would be a lot weaker without a personal Ancient Tomb
“What’s going to be banned next in Modern?” is a question I’ve been asked a ton lately. At first, I thought the answer would be Kozilek’s Command, but given that it was the RC Promo for the current season, I highly doubt it’ll be the one. So I expect the Ban Hammer to fall on Emrakul, the Promised End. Still excited to see how RC Ghent reacts to the clear best deck in the format: Broodscale Eldrazi. #MTGModern
Top 4 with Jeskai Energy in todays Challenge, only lost to Boros twice 😅
Tried Broodscale yesterday and it really did not fit me well, just sticking to my type of deck now
13-2 across 3 leagues, at this point I have no clue what to play in Gent lol
(list by @RossHunneds )
okay maybe that @OafMcNamara guy is onto something, list felt nice
matchups were Prowess, Mill, Necro, Burn and Mono R Belcher, so not quite the top of the format, not sure whether i prefer this or Esper, both decks feel medium in powerlevel
Fuck, now I have to 2-3 a league with Dimir again
Played some Esper this week and really like the deck, but it is difficult, feels like I still have a lot to learn
5-2 with the @PiemontiAndrea special in todays Modern Challenge
The deck was very very fun 😍 and the card choices felt good, i got to make infinite life twice today
Cut 1 Plains for a Sacred Foundry and got gigapunished by Boros Ponza, don't do that
