As the dying person becomes more deeply unconscious, they don't respond to secretions building up at the back of the throat - "the person is safely unconscious" - this is the "death rattle", and indicates deep levels of unconsciousness. #MakingDyingBetter

The other day I found my brother eating my jelly babies (hypo treatment)& they were the only thing I had on me. I explained I needed them&to please stop. So, he took 1 more (!!)&handed me the bag. I don't think people realise the dangers of hypos & that sugar SAVES our lives
