Very happy to share that I've joined ABC as a director...
"Where there is youth, there are new ideas; where there are new ideas there is endless hope and potential. I believe in the indigenous brilliance and expression of Africa’s youth."

This is happening today. Still mind blown that my work is added to this monumental moment ✨
This weekend, Radio 3 marks the @BBC's centenary with #SoundscapeOfACentury: an epic, eight-hour soundscape that combines some of the century's most glorious classical music with gems from the BBC archives.

This was me with Brian in winter 2004, when we lived in London. Wow, 18 years ago, just before we got married!

have never seen this image of him. what a beautiful baby.
#EmmettTill was brutalized, dehumanized, and murdered 67 years ago today.
This heinously racist lynching was in response to a lie.
But even if it had been true, Emmett should still be here.
There’s no justification.
The work for justice continues.
Emmett would be 81.

One of my all time favourite poets/cultural thinker and exceptional mind, Jay Bernard.
'I'm not a historian, so I don't deal with trying to piece together things as they were.
I'm really listening to the present, listening to echoes of the big bang, so to speak, ripples that are still perceptible.'
