Best performing women rep in Northern Region
@FatumaJehowMP, keep the woodwork mheshimiwa.
May Allah SWT bless you.
I am truly humbled and proud to be recognized as the #BestPerforming Woman Representative in the North Eastern Region.
My beloved people of Wajir County, this recognition is not mine alone; it belongs to each and every one of you.
It has been one year since the passing of Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, a man whose name will forever be etched in Kenya’s history.
We remember him as a champion of democracy, a tireless advocate for justice, and a key figure in the struggle for the democratic reforms that....
continue to shape our nation today. His sacrifices, resilience, and unwavering commitment to a better Kenya remain an enduring part of our national story.
Though he is gone, his legacy lives on in the democratic space we enjoy and the freedoms generations continue to cherish.

May Allah reward you and every one who contributed towards this noble cause.
Heartfelt gratitude to all leaders, elders, donors, and community members who helped raise KSh 33,759,000 towards completing Jamia Masjid Habaswein and Madrasatul Ibnu Mas’ud. May Allah reward every contributor and make this noble project a lasting Sadaqah Jariyah
A proud moment for the people of Wajir County as Parliament approves the nomination of Hon. Fatuma Ibrahim as a non-Member of the Parliamentary Service Commission.
This follows her interview and vetting by the Senate Justice and Legal Affairs Committee.
Earlier, we met with members of the Departmental Committee on Lands, led by NLC Chairperson Dr. Abdillahi Saggaf Alawy, Commission Secretary & CEO Kabale Tache Arero, and other Commissioners.
Our consultations focused on strengthening cooperation between Parliament and the National Land Commission and addressing challenges affecting the effective discharge of the Commission’s mandate.
Together with my colleagues in the Committee on Lands, chaired by Hon. Joash Nyamoko, we held a consultative engagement with officials from the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning, led by the Principal Secretary, Hon. Nixon Korir.
The engagement focused on reviewing several..
disputed and contested land matters currently before the Committee. These consultations are important in gaining a deeper understanding of the issues involved and exploring lawful, fair and lasting solutions to the concerns raised by various stakeholders.
Another proud moment for Wajir County as our first Women Representative, Hon. Fatuma Ibrahim Ali (2013–2017), has been nominated to serve as a Member of the Parliamentary Service Commission, pursuant to Article 127(2)(d) of the Constitution of Kenya.
She will now appear before the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs for vetting and consideration of her suitability for the position.
