He needs a reality check. His form is declining, and let’s be honest, he’s no Messi. Not even close to Neymar in pure footballing ability. He needs to be humbled and use this as motivation to improve.
And Flick needs to stop giving him a free pass. How does a 19year old play 90 minutes every game,even when he’s underperforming? Why does he have this much authority? Talent doesn’t make you untouchable. Keep pushing him like this, and burnout or injury is inevitable. We have already seen this happen before.
