Made with Claude + Remotion. No recording, no editing, just code. Clypy: paste anything, from any device, into anything. clypy.app

clypy.app just crossed $100 in revenue. Not life changing money. But it's the first time strangers paid for something I built alone, and that number went from 0 to not 0. Back to shipping.

What guideline 3.1.1 actually catches, and why fixing it properly meant rebuilding my entire entitlement layer

I shipped a license key field to iOS. Apple rejected it under 3.1.1, and fixing it properly cost me my entire entitlement layer. Wrote up exactly what the rule catches and what I rebuilt.

Clypy is live on PeerPush. It started as something I wanted for myself: a clipboard that actually works across Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android. Now it's a real product with paying customers. Still early. Still building. peerpush.com/p/clypy

Got my first sale today :) There’s something special about the first person willing to pay for something you built. Small win, but this one feels good. First of many 🚀

I've been building Clypy for a while now. And the hardest part hasn't been the code. It's been figuring out who i'm actually building for. Startup founders? developers? power users who live in their keyboard? Turns out the answer was right in front of me the whole time. The people who hate switching windows to paste something. That's it. That's the user. Once I stopped trying to describe the product and started describing the frustration, everything got clearer.
