Preventive healthcare can save lives, but only when people can access the services and information they need.
From HIV testing and counselling to family planning and cervical cancer screening, bringing these services into communities creates opportunities for early detection, informed choices, and better health outcomes.

A cleaner community starts with the actions we take every day. Our team in Lugujja joined National Cleaning Day activities, taking time to clean our surroundings and help create a healthier environment for everyone.
Together, we can make a difference.

Africa needs institutions able to turn social ambition into lasting change.
Yesterday, I was formally inducted onto the Board of Directors of the Movit Foundation, founded by Mr Simpson Birungi. Its work spans education, maternal health, gender equality and environmental resilience, with plans to expand from Uganda into seven East African countries by 2030.
I look forward to serving alongside @SolomeNakaweesi and @owekmeno, while working with @KitendaRobert, Stuart Birungi and the wider team to strengthen impact across African communities.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know

As the screening unfolds, audiences are reflecting on the meaning of forgiveness, the weight of past experiences and what it takes to begin healing.

A cleaner environment begins with collective action. Through initiatives like National Cleaning Day, we are reminded that maintaining clean, safe and welcoming spaces requires each of us to play our part.
Small actions, when brought together, can make a lasting difference in our communities.

We are live at the inaugural Kwiso Movie Night at the Reach A Hand Africa headquarters in Lungujja. 🎬
Tonight, we are screening The Unforgivable, a Ugandan film exploring domestic violence, childhood trauma and the pain passed from one generation to another.
Film has brought us into the room. The issues on screen give us a reason to talk.

The screen is on, and the conversations are about to begin.
Beyond the story unfolding on screen, tonight creates room to explore the realities of trauma, forgiveness, and how our past experiences shape the way we relate to others.

Thank you @reachahand for the initiative 🙏
The Unforgivable is now on screen.
Salaama’s life changes when violence enters her marriage and forces her to confront wounds from her childhood. Her story asks a difficult question: how do families stop pain from passing to the next generation?

Can you forgive someone without fully understanding what they have been through?
That's one of the questions coming to life as we watch The Unforgivable at Kwiso Movie Nights.

Tonight’s inaugural Kwiso Movie Night reflects the kind of platform we want to build.
African films need audiences, filmmakers need sustainable routes to those audiences, and communities need stories that help them examine their realities.
Cinema, conversation and social impact belong in the same room.

Today’s team meeting had a different set of goals. ⚽😉
Sauti, @reachahand staff, peer educators @FcGuntu and @gazalanduox took to the pitch before Kwiso Movie Night.
Time to connect beyond the next deadline.
From football to The Unforgivable. 🎬
