I lived in Palestine. My husband does work there. We have Palestinian friends. PALESTINIANS DO NOT WANT A STATE! They make too much money. They get everything for free. And they are incapable of governing themselves, their people, or operate a state. THEY ONLY WANT ISRAEL GONE.

BREAKING NEWS Roughly 3 millions Palestinians were not allowed to vote in Israel's Knesset Election...😳 Hey @grok voting is fundamental rights then why they're not allowed to vote?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

I'm glad to see your post. Most Americans don't know any Jews. Others are just oblivious to the situation their Jewish neighbors face. I'm in Torino today. The only religious house of worship protected by the army is the synagogue. How do people not see this as a problem 🇺🇲🌎?

Van Jones called out an antisemitic political ad blaming Israel for Americans struggling to afford groceries. Speaking on CNN, Jones pointed out that annual U.S. aid to Israel amounts to less than 0.1% of the federal budget. He also highlighted the dangerous double standard: The U.S. spends money in countries around the world, but this ad singles out the Jewish state as the reason American families are struggling. Debating foreign aid is fair game. Blaming Israel for Americans' financial struggles is something else entirely. As Jones warned, blaming Jews for society's problems is an old and dangerous pattern. History has shown us where it can lead. Thank you once again for your moral clarity, @VanJones68.

🚨 HEZBOLLAH IS HUNTING JEWS IN BRAZIL. IRAN'S TERROR MACHINE HAS NO BORDERS! 🇧🇷🇮🇱 How many Jewish graves does the world need before it wakes up? Iran-backed Hezbollah is recruiting criminals in Brazil, sending operatives to Lebanon for training, and targeting Jewish communities thousands of miles from Israel. Synagogues. Jewish cemeteries. Rabbis. Israeli diplomatic facilities. These are not battlefields. These are targets of terrorism. Brazil's Operation Trapiche exposed the network. Investigators uncovered surveillance, clandestine communications, and alleged terrorist financing. And where is the international outrage? Imagine the global reaction if Jewish extremists were recruiting criminals to target mosques in Brazil. The condemnations would be deafening. And rightly so. But when Jews are targeted, too many people look away. I am a Muslim. I have spent my life confronting extremism. I recognize this machinery of hatred. Hezbollah is not defending anyone. It is exporting terror. Tehran is financing a global threat. Latin America must stop being a playground for Iranian terrorist networks. Freeze their assets. Arrest their operatives. Dismantle their networks. Jewish lives are not expendable. Jewish security is not negotiable. Silence today invites another massacre tomorrow. #Hezbollah #Iran #Brazil #Antisemitism #Israel #IRGC #CounterTerrorism #JewishLivesMatter #MansoorLaghari

Good morning from Mount Carmel. Cloudy with some sunshine. Election results are still incomplete and moods are oscillating. Here are a few certainties, though: * Netanyahu lost his nationalist-racist-ultra orthodox majority. * We should hug the 7 October survivors and families, many of whom are in deep pain because the government of massacre is not more decisively ousted. * Israel‘s liberal-democratic muscle was indeed flexed to the utmost, and guess what? We can’t declare victory without our Arab fellow citizens. This is good. A discourse of Jewish-Arab political partnership is fast becoming the new normal. * Renewed war against Iran, as Netanyahu and Trump are plotting, spells further political danger and mayhem. * I and likeminded Israelis remain resilient, alert and very cautiously hopeful. If you have read this far, I will add that it’s my birthday and I may sign off for a while. Keep tuned.
Israel’s liberal-democratic muscle is now flexed to the utmost. The result may be epic. Or epically tragic. Think of us tomorrow, friends.

I’m aware that Pollsters point out that Jewish voters make up only about 1.5% of the electorate, but that overlook the broader impact of antisemitism. Non-Jewish friends, like myself who see Jewish people they care about feeling afraid may also be moved to act. Receiving antisemitic propaganda from a Hezbollah-linked organization only strengthens that resolve. Our resilve is in a responsible manner, we vote not protest or prevent students from attending classes in college. There is also an irony here: Democrats condemn neo-Nazi organizations as terrorist groups, yet seem to overlook antisemitism among people who support the Muslim Brotherhood. For many of us, that’s another reason to vote against the Democratic Senate candidate. These scare tactics will backfire on whoever tried to intimidate this man and his community.

"How can we let this happen again?" In Berkley, Michigan 🇺🇸, antisemitic flyers were left on lawns and sidewalks for the 2nd time. A Jewish father told CBS that a flyer on his lawn read: "Brought to you by your local Nazis." Berkley is near West Bloomfield, Michigan. The same father attends the synagogue there, where a Hezbollah-inspired attacker rammed a vehicle of explosives into a Jewish preschool. Anti-Jewish hate in Michigan has reached Jews' synagogues and their homes.

❤️Jamie Lee Curtis and Her Ancestral Synagogue: Preserving a Jewish Legacy in Hungary In the small Hungarian town of Mátészalka stands a historic synagogue whose future has become connected to one of Hollywood’s most recognizable stars — Academy Award-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis. For Curtis, this is much more than an old building. It is a place deeply connected to her family’s history and to a Jewish community that was almost entirely destroyed during the Holocaust. Her father, legendary Hollywood actor Tony Curtis, was born Bernard Schwartz in New York City in 1925. His parents were Jewish immigrants from Hungary, and the family had strong ancestral ties to Mátészalka. The town’s synagogue, built in 1857, once stood at the heart of a thriving Jewish community. Before the Holocaust, more than 1,500 Jews lived in Mátészalka. In 1944, following the German occupation of Hungary, the town’s Jewish population was subjected to persecution and deportation. Most of those sent to Auschwitz never returned. After the war, only around 150 Jews came back. Over the following decades, many left the town, and the once-vibrant Jewish community gradually disappeared. The synagogue remained, but without the community that had given it life. In 2021, Jamie Lee Curtis visited Mátészalka to attend the opening of a museum dedicated to her father. During that visit, she announced her intention to help raise funds for the restoration of the town’s historic synagogue. The vision goes beyond repairing an aging building. The goal is to transform the synagogue into a cultural and community space where exhibitions, concerts, educational events, and activities commemorating the town’s Jewish heritage could take place. In many ways, Curtis is continuing a family tradition. Her father, Tony Curtis, had also been actively involved in preserving Hungary’s Jewish heritage. During his lifetime, he supported fundraising efforts to restore the magnificent Dohány Street Synagogue in Budapest, one of Europe’s largest synagogues. Now his daughter is helping draw attention to a place directly connected to their own family history. The Mátészalka project has received financial and organizational support, although the restoration has not been confirmed as completed. Documents associated with the development plans refer to work scheduled through the end of 2027, but this should not be interpreted as a guaranteed reopening date. What makes this story especially meaningful is that a Hollywood actress is using her public influence to help preserve the memory of a community whose lives and traditions were devastated by the Holocaust. Restoring the synagogue cannot bring back those who were murdered or recreate the community that once gathered there. But it can ensure that their history is not forgotten. And perhaps that is the greatest significance of this effort: preserving not just a building, but the memory of generations of people who once called this place home.🙏🇮🇱 Source: The Times of Israel, Jewish Heritage Europe, and historical information published by Hungarian Jewish organizations.
