He shot an 18-year-old honor student in the back of the head. Then 17-year-old Danta Wright sat in court smiling while the victim's mother cried, and told the room: "I'll be home soon."
In the video below, watch him grin through the family's statements, then watch the judge lose it.
In October 2016, Wright and 2 friends tried to rob Jordan Klee, a senior and football player at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Wright shot him in the back of the head. Jordan was found dead on a walking path.
At sentencing, Jordan's mother's words were read out loud: "I've lost my only child, my son, my baby, my friend... I no longer have the hope of having grandchildren." Wright smiled, nearly laughed and shook his head.
Judge David Swartz stopped everything. "Watching you sit there, smile, laugh, shake your head like this was no big deal, I'm very tempted to just say I'm not going to accept this sentencing agreement." At trial, he warned, it could be life in prison: "That means you'll die there."
The judge said he had never thrown out a plea deal before. But during the break, Jordan's family asked him not to send the case to trial, because they wanted to move on. His lawyer apologized and said the teen "displays fear by smiling."
He got 23 to 50 years.
1 life taken. 1 smile. 23 years minimum.
Should the judge have ignored the family and sent him to trial for life?

A 15-year-old met his mom in the garage, told her he loved her and shot her six times. His dad was already dead under a sheet in the bathroom, killed with a rifle he’d bought his own son. The next morning the boy put on a long trench coat and drove to school:
He walked into the cafeteria and emptied a 50-round magazine before five classmates tackled him. Two students died and 25 were wounded. And 24 hours earlier, police already had him in custody with a stolen gun, and let him go home:
On May 20, 1998, in Springfield, Oregon, Kip Kinkel bought a stolen pistol from a classmate for $110 and hid it in his locker. He was arrested, suspended and released to his father. That afternoon his dad told a friend on the phone, “I don’t know what to do at this point.”
A year earlier his mom had taken him to a psychologist over his “extreme interest in guns, knives and explosives.” He was diagnosed with depression and put on Prozac. Weeks into that treatment, his dad bought him a Glock 19, and a few months later a .22 rifle. The deal was that Kip could only use them with an adult around. “No one consulted me about that decision,” the psychologist said later.
That afternoon Kip took the rifle from his parents’ bedroom and shot his father in the back of the head at the kitchen counter. When a teacher called, he said his dad was “not there right now.” His mom got home at 6:30.
Police arriving the next morning found the “Romeo and Juliet” soundtrack playing on a loop and homemade bombs in his room. By then Kip was already at school.
At the station he pulled a hidden knife on a detective. In his recorded confession he kept repeating, “I had no other choice.” About his dad he said, “I loved my dad, that’s why I had to.”
In the video below, it’s six hours after the shooting. A detective walks Kip, in handcuffs, back through Thurston High on camera. He shows them where he parked his mom’s car and where he started firing, and he answers in short, quiet words.
He pleaded guilty and got 111 years without parole. Only later did doctors diagnose him with paranoid schizophrenia. He had been hearing voices since he was 12. In 2019 Oregon banned life without parole for 15- to 17-year-olds, but the law doesn’t apply to sentences handed down before it. Kip is in his 40s now, has earned a college degree in prison and says he feels “tremendous shame and guilt.”
Should a 15-year-old who was hearing voices die in prison for this, or did he give up that right in that cafeteria?

In 1995 a 24-year-old man went to Chicago to be on a TV talk show because someone had a secret crush on him. He was sure it was a girl. On stage, with the audience cheering, he found out it was his neighbor Scott Amedure, who had just told the cameras his sexual fantasies about him. He laughed it off. Three days later he bought a shotgun and killed him.
He sat on that stage smiling and laughing the whole time. Everyone watching thought he was in on the joke.

The episode was called "Revealing Same Sex Secret Crush." Producers never told him the admirer was a man. Years later, under oath, Jenny Jones admitted the show didn't want him to know.
Scott went out first. He was 32, a bartender, and he talked about Jonathan while the crowd hooted. Then Jonathan walked out, saw who was sitting there and forced a smile. He told the audience he was completely heterosexual. They laughed right along with him.
After the taping the three of them went out together like nothing had happened.
Three days later Jonathan found a note on his door that he took as a come-on. He bought a 12-gauge shotgun, drove to Scott's trailer and shot him twice in the chest.
Then he called 911 and told them what he'd done.
The episode did finally air in 1996, on Court TV, as part of the trial.
He got 25 to 50 years and walked out in 2017. A jury ordered the show to pay Scott's family $25 million. An appeals court took it away.
Who really killed Scott Amedure: the man who pulled the trigger, or the show that walked him into that room for ratings?

A few days ago, Austin Payne, a 15-year-old White boy in Georgia, was hunted, shot, and left to die in an abandoned apartment by four black teen males.
He called his mom after being attacked and shot, telling her he was dying.
She found his body the next morning after searching all night for him.
Charged with his murder: Jansquincey Donaldson, 15; Omari Marion, 15; Adarious Wallace, 16; Detravion Parker, 22.
National media has been completely silent.
If four White teens had done this to a Black kid, it would dominate cable news for days.
Instead, silence.
They covered the Nolan Wells case wall-to-wall for a drowning.
Yet this kid was hunted like an animal and brutally murdered, and because his skin is White, his story will never be told.
I couldn’t imagine being his mother and getting that call.

Every last day of school the other kids celebrated. Sinéad and her brother cried and hid the hockey sticks and tennis rackets around the house. It never worked. She'd invent a reason anyway. A crooked lampshade. A dusty shelf. Anything.
Every morning when they heard her footsteps on the stairs they wet themselves with fear. She made Sinéad repeat: I am nothing. I am nothing. Over and over until she believed it.
She ran away at 13. Never received trauma treatment. Said the only therapy she ever had was music.

Good morning from Galilee.
I have good news and bad news.
Let’s start with the bad so we can end on a better note.
Both in Israel and America, the stolen election results have emboldened the Islamists and globalists. This will become a catalyst for some crazy moves on their side - and paralyzing fear on the other.
In Israel, the head of the Shin Bet - our equivalent of the FBI - reportedly said behind closed doors that what Hamas did to us as a nation on October 7, foreign interference in the October 27 elections did to our democracy. Our parliament was hijacked by Islamists through fraud and bribery.
If you think the elections in America were kosher, I have some ice to sell to the Eskimos.
In almost every state, the numbers simply don’t add up.
They tell you that Republicans voted for Democrats to punish the current administration. I don’t buy it. Republicans showed up and voted, but the number of new voters on the other side defied logic and common sense.
The bad news is that they may already begin threatening to block the current administration from making any move they disagree with. They are already threatening subpoenas and investigations because they know the judicial branch is totally compromised and the media is on their side, too.
America has changed forever. In my view, this was a victory for foreign agents of chaos. They have no interest in America or what it stands for. Their goal is to bring down the West and create a new world order - a move the Islamists will use to advance their vision of an Islamized world.
And once they finish using the useful idiots on the left, they will turn on them, just as the Islamic regime in Iran turned on its former revolutionary allies.
Now, let’s move to the good news:
There is hope.
You can find joy.
You can find love.
You can live with a much higher purpose.
You can be ready to be taken to a better place.
Your eyes can be opened to the truth.
Your life can be transformed.
You can do all things through Him who strengthens you.
You can know Him through His Word and have His Spirit dwelling within you!
His name is Yeshua - “Salvation.” When He came into the world, elderly Simeon took Him in his arms and said:

A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles,
And the glory of Your people Israel.”

Jesus is the glory of His people Israel and the only way for Gentiles to have their eyes opened to know and believe in the only true God - the God of Israel!
Jews don’t need to become Gentiles.
Gentiles don’t need to become Jews.
Both need to be born again!
Jews must return to the Word of God and stop idolizing rabbinical interpretations. Christians must do the same: return to the Bible and its literal interpretation, abandoning the writings and theologies of church fathers wherever they are tainted by antisemitism.
As the world grows darker, our light should shine even brighter!
Every global crisis should draw us closer to the God who created this world and farther from the evil one whom Scripture calls “the god of this age.”

While deputies searched for her missing baby girl, an 18-year-old mom stood outside the sheriff’s office and calmly told a TV reporter that her daughter’s favorite song is Baby Shark. “She’s 15 months today actually,” she said. She already knew exactly where that baby was:
In a trash can inside the mom’s childhood playhouse, wrapped in a blanket, tin foil and a black trash bag. Evelyn had been dead for two months. And before police found her, her mother sent them chasing the baby across two states:
Her name was Megan Boswell, from Sullivan County, Tennessee. For two months nobody reported Evelyn missing. When police finally came asking, Megan had a story ready.
Evelyn was with her father, she said. Detectives went all the way to Louisiana to find him. He didn’t have her.
Then it was Megan’s own mother who had taken the baby. Investigators and U.S. Marshals chased that lead into Virginia. Nothing.
On camera she said Evelyn was at a campground in Mendota “with somebody.” Deputies checked every site, then checked them all again. Nothing.
She said she never called police because she didn’t want to look like a bad mother. A few days later she went back to the same TV station to announce she was pregnant, and said that was why she couldn’t take a polygraph. The sheriff’s office and the TBI both said no polygraph had ever been scheduled.
More than 50 people from the sheriff’s office searched around the clock for 18 days. The whole time, Evelyn was on the family’s property.
When they found her in March, two medical examiners said she had died of asphyxiation. Foil had been wrapped over her face, and Megan’s fingerprint was on it.
In the video below, Megan talks about her daughter as if she’s still alive: her favorite toy, how she hit every milestone early, the little pink bow in her hair the last day Megan saw her. Her voice never breaks, and the building behind her is the sheriff’s office that was out looking for Evelyn.
In February 2025 a jury found her guilty on all 19 counts, including first-degree murder, abuse of a corpse and 11 counts of false reporting. The judge gave her life plus 33 years and said the court “never once saw remorse.” She won’t be eligible for parole until she’s 69.
Her last words to the judge were “I did not kill Evelyn.”
Did Megan really think nobody would ever look in that playhouse, or did she stop caring the moment the cameras showed up?
