Well it wasn't meant to be for @NorthantsCCC, but still if you were to tell me you'd win the T20 and have a chance of promotion going into the final game it would be classed a great season...which it was! Very proud of the county! Countdown is on to next season!
Ahead of @NorthantsCCC final game of the season, Roland-Jones has taken 49 FC wickets and Higgins 39 against the county. But since the start of the 2000 season, which player has taken the most against Northants?
1. 65
2. 53
3. 52
4. 50
5. TRJ - 49
9. Higgins - 39
To top off @NorthantsCCC incredible win at the weekend. @david_willey claimed his 200th wicket in the blast and then also took his 150th PowerPlay wicket in Domestic / Franchise T20! 96 of them coming when we bowl 2nd!👀

I've been working through @NorthantsCCC and created these (2000 - present). They're still work in progress though. Here's Willey's T20 for a browse. Just includes T20 blast matches and no tour matches etc and just Northants games. Any ideas of what else to be shown are welcome.
25 5fers for @sando567 in CC cricket now, he has 4 against Sussex, Derbyshire and now Gloucestershire @oldmanradd @NorthantsCCC
The NH season wrapped up this weekend, so I’ve taken a deep dive into @LHorsfallRacing 2025/26 campaign

Everyone at the yard thinking of Sam today.
He rode for us at Kingston Blount last week, when I arrived he shouted "Laura, you need a good 7lb claimer on Jalisco Star" and that he would be happy to help!
Sam to a tee, always a friendly face at P2P. He'll be sorely missed
"That's for him that is!"
After landing the @HerefordRaces opener @LHorsfallRacing paid an emotional tribute to Sam Lee...

This move definitely paid off for Aus, may not have scored well in the SS match but time playing 4day cricket a bonus. Can't imagine ECB allowing an England player to play CC to get some form right before a test series in the summer 🤷♂️
Travis Head will miss the final two T20Is against India, set to play for South Australia in the Sheffield Shield next week

So my Dad goes out to Aus tomorrow for the first 2 tests, couldn't have not gone without a flag! Hopefully a few people will spot it including @darren_lehmann! @ntfc @NorthantsCCC
Another round of Shield matches finished, what a game QLD v WA was! Great performance by Rocchiccioli with the ball 2nd innings and bat at the end. Marnus still top of the pile for runs and Kelly with wickets.
2 updates, 1 from the last round of Sheffield Shield matches - McSweeney and Kellaway in the runs open.substack.com/pub/mikeyf… and OD match between QLD and NSW open.substack.com/pub/mikeyf…
My latest blog on the Australian 8 that I'm following from the last round of One Day Cup matches, decent performance from McSweeney and Kellaway. Also now including top run scorers and wicket takers from the domestic league. open.substack.com/pub/mikeyf…
Decided to create a blog rather than constantly post on here for the Aussie cricketers I decided to follow for their domestic season. Links here if anyone wants to read and stay updated through their season. mikeyfenn.substack.com/p/one…
Missed the start of the List A but the start of the Sheffield Shield overnight, have decided to follow at least 1 player from each state to make it interesting.
A variety of known players and then some who haven't made their FC debuts yet, let's see how they do.
Updated CC stats from 2000 to now for @NorthantsCCC. This only shows CC matches and no tour matches etc.
The 298* by @zaib_05 and J.Broad broke the 7th wicket partnership and was the 4th highest partnership since 2000
