One of the biggest bottlenecks in the AI boom isn’t chips. It’s power, and increasingly, the equipment needed to generate it.
As global demand for electricity surges, manufacturing lead times for large natural gas turbines are stretching into the 2030s. Meanwhile, our second Siemens Energy SGT6-5000F turbine has arrived at Project Matador, alongside two corresponding generators. They join our first Siemens F-class turbine, delivered just weeks ago.
While much of the industry is working to secure future access to generation equipment, Fermi already owns critical power generation assets that are now arriving on-site. We’re developing both the power infrastructure and the data centers together at Project Matador, giving us a significant competitive advantage in an industry where access to power increasingly determines how quickly projects can move forward.

TensorWave has signed a long-term agreement with @FermiAmerica for 222 MW of capacity at Project Matador in Texas, with expansion rights that could bring our partnership to more than 650 MW.
Once fully delivered, the first phase is expected to support tens of thousands of next-generation AMD Instinct™ GPUs for large-scale AI training and inference.
