Yet another unusual development with Delta Apparel. The board has decided to cooperate with Forager (the activists) and will appoint Timothy Brog to the board immediately.
Forager explicitly stated (1) they want to push for a sale of the legacy business and keep Salt Life or…
(2) help to sell Salt Life at a great price. Either way this gives a strong message.

2/ Trading for $5.7m. Activists (34% stake) took control of the board ~2.5 ago years after management was rapidly burning cash. They did a good job cutting costs, but the company hasn’t done a complete turnaround yet.
