A lot of people on social media don’t love basketball, they love the content that it generates for them. Know the difference. ~Yoda

On one hand, this Kristaps Porziņģis situation is odd Maybe he has a health issue that the team feels is manageable, but Porziņģis doesn’t want to push it at this stage in his career / life. On the other hand, this is the same organization that pushed a Kevin Durant hit piece through Tim Kawakami when he hurt his calf (and eventually TORE HIS ACHILLES!!!). Either way, an awful job at gathering intel by the suits. They had every avenue to get information on his condition, as well as the interpersonal stuff that’s important to note when things are less than perfect.

This is allegedly one reason Kuminga would be benched. Yaxel is so lucky they suck; he gets to develop on a losing team like a regular lottery pick.
Steve Kerr on Yaxel Lendeborg's defense: "His weak-side awareness right now is very poor. And with his size, he should be one of our best defenders at the rim. And right now, he's unaware on the weak-side"

Yuuuuup. Warriors fans who are weirdly still obsessed with him look at the box score without watching the game and miss it all because they refuse to believe Kerr was absolutely wrong about him.
Jonathan Kuminga only took seven shots tonight (seventh most on the team), and yet he was probably the most impactful Timberwolves player on the floor. Eight rebounds, five assists, zero turnovers, and multiple dominant defensive possessions. Awesome stuff from him so far.

Y’all can try to hold on to that Kuminga hate gimmick all you want but if we wanna really talk ball, yall gotta admit that a Kuminga/Yaxel duo would’ve been such a bright future for this team but also so much of what this team needs rn. Their games would’ve fit eachother so well

Steph Curry took a pay cut for this?!?
Just in: Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski has agreed to a five-year, $110 million fully guaranteed rookie-scale contract extension, agent Bill Duffy of WME Basketball tells ESPN. The deal includes a mutual option in the fifth year (2031-32) and a trade kicker.

San Francisco still the cyberpunk future winner. I've been here *one* hour today and already seen two fighter jets fly over, many cars driving themselves, a drone delivery, a guy holding an anti-AI protest, someone keeled over on drugs, and had a great burrito.
