The man reportedly grew up with his grandmother in a village in Osun, hawking firewood and struggling through life, while his father was alive and living somewhere better than the village his son grew up in.
So my question is simple: where was his father through all of this? Would you have your own son living with your mother in a village while you live in a much better town?
After his grandmother died and he moved to Ibadan, did his family even know where he was and how he was doing?
And please, let’s not ignore the timeline. People online were already reporting rumours of his death hours before the official confirmation. Some strangers online appeared to know about it that same day, not the following day.
I’m not saying every rumour is a fact, but these are legitimate questions that deserve answers. You can’t just dismiss everything because some relatives came out later to speak about it.
So sad. Extended family that don’t care about you and your immediate family. People forget that his wife is still very young and how will she take care of her two kids ? They didn’t factor the impact of catering for the children and the emotional instability. Ogun naa ni wahala
It’s so sad to see widows suffer in Nigeria. Look at how these charlatans have been dragging Toluwanising’s wife. This is why you should have a will as a 30-40-year-old to protect your spouse and children from the clutches of wicked family and extended family members. FYI, a will doesn’t have to cover properties alone, it can include where you want to be buried and who you want your kids to stay with in case you’re the only one left with them, and so on.

GOV AIYEDATIWA NOMINATED AS GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR FOR 2026 SILVERBIRD AWARDS
Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has been nominated for the prestigious Governor of the Year Award at the 2026 Silverbird Man of the Year Awards.
The nomination was contained in a letter dated October 26, 2026, addressed to the Governor by the Founder of Silverbird Group, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.
In the letter, the Silverbird Group congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa on his selection, saying the recognition reflects appreciation of his leadership and contributions to the development of Ondo State.
According to the organisers, the Governor's commitment to infrastructure, education, healthcare and economic development makes the recognition a fitting tribute to his leadership and service to Ondo State.
The letter reads in part: “On behalf of Silverbird Group, I warmly congratulate you on your selection as a recipient of the 2026 Silverbird Governor of the Year Award. This recognition reflects our appreciation of your leadership and your contributions to the development of Ondo State.”
The award will be formally presented at the 20th edition of the Silverbird Man of the Year Awards, scheduled for Monday, 16th November, 2026, at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, by 5:00 p.m.
The Silverbird Man of the Year Awards celebrate outstanding Nigerians whose leadership, achievements and service have made significant contributions to the nation.
