And if anyone has a problem with me being back in EVW.
Say it to my face. Right now.
Because I’m back here for good, YEAH!”
(With a smirk on his face and a direct hit to LA Knight, he drops the mic stands in the center of the ring with his chest heaving, soaking in the chaos.)

I’ve been watching. I’ve been waiting. And tonight… I’m done waiting.
Whoever’s standing in that ring later with Randy Orton, that mystery fighter, hell, even you, LA Knight you gotta understand one thing:
I’m not here to play.
I’m here to fight.

I didn’t come back for a handshake or a ‘welcome home’ segment. I came back because this place got soft the second I walked out that door.
You people want action? You want violence? You want someone who doesn’t care about looking pretty or saying the right thing?
I’m that guy.

I heard some people thought they could throw a big show without me.
I heard LA Knight running his mouth, talking about returns and chaos and main events.
Well, here I am.
Kevin Owens.
Back in EVW.
I didn’t come back for a warm welcome.

Owens storms through the curtain like a man possessed, no music video, no theatrics — just pure rage and purpose. He marches straight to the ring, slides in, grabs a mic, and stares down the hard camera.)
Kevin Owens:
“Des Moines…
I heard there was a brawl going on tonight.

The arena is still buzzing from LA Knight’s opening. Suddenly the lights cut to blood-red. A low, menacing guitar riff hits. The crowd erupts as the titantron flashes “KEVIN OWENS” in stark white letters.

With all the criticism of the SummerSlam build, the show itself ended up being AWESOME.
For a PLE to feel truly special, it needs a little bit of everything, and I think SummerSlam delivered.
- Surprises: Randy Orton's return, Kevin Owens' return
- Emotional moments: Nick Aldis celebrating with his family, Chad Gable winning the IC Title and celebrating with his family
- Feel good moments: Chelsea Green's title win, KO hugging Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins doing the Shield fist bump, Brock passing the torch
- Epic Cinema Match: Seth vs Roman
- Entrances: Cody Rhodes, Penta, Seth Rollins, Nick Aldis
- Comedy: Solo running it back, Danhausen
- Holy Sh*t moments: KO's top rope spots, Charlotte hanging from the title, Tiffany Stratton's two huge dives, Royce Keys' two powerslams, CM Punk's moonsault attempt 😂
- Storytelling: Chad Gable's full circle journey, the Shield callback, Randy Orton finally getting his revenge
That's why this felt like one of the most complete WWE shows in a long time. #SummerSlam
