We would like to thank scholarship committee member Jaclyn Murray and Fighting HARD Kiddo LJ Hansen for coming and announcing our Rare Disease Warrior Scholarship and Outstanding Volunteer Scholarship recipients! Pictured below is LJ Hansen with award recipient Nicholas Nieves!
Our $1,000 Rare Disease Warrior scholarship was awarded to Jaclyn Konish, a senior who uses her rare disease journey to help others. Our 2 $500 Outstanding Volunteer Scholarships were awarded to Chelsea Berwick and Nicholas Nieves, influential members of the @FightingHARD2 club!
Last night, we were able to present 3 scholarships at Howell High School for their Scholarship Award Ceremony: 1 Rare Disease Warrior Scholarship, and 2 Outstanding Advocacy and Volunteerism Scholarships. Please see our next tweets to announce our recipients! #WeAreFightingHARD
