When price tests the same area repeatedly, traders need to assess whether the market is building acceptance or preparing for another rejection.
In this S&P 500 cash open breakdown, Mike examines repeated tests of a key value area, emerging buying imbalances and positive delta to assess the potential for an upside move. He also explains how the cash open can introduce additional volatility, creating opportunities around significant price levels and resting liquidity.

And today's free prep is Soybeans.
app.journalytix.me/freePrep/…
These come up at random, I post 1 free one today, I don't get to choose. We share the love 💕 equally.
But it's interesting that Soybeans came up because of last nights slightly dodgy election in Brazil.
So an eye on Corn not an awful idea.

People who believe that a solution to life's problems is giving more tax money to the government are people who actually haven't dealt with real problems.
Small example: we had to get Starlink for our property and our vehicles because after government burned down all of the Palisades and Malibu, the utility infrastructure is still so bad, you end up with complete dead zones everywhere; I couldn't manage running a campaign like that. Because one industrialist built a rocket company years ago, we now have an option to directly bypass everyone else's failings while government spends the next 3 decades rebuilding.
All of my savvy neighbors who are rebuilding are investing in fire-defense sprinkler systems on their properties, aggressively managing the vegetation around their homes...they've learned that no matter how much you pay the government, they will not be there when you need them most, their incompetence will likely be the source of the emergency in the first place, and the best thing you can do is insulate yourself from their failures. They won't be there when the fire hits you backyard, they won't be there when the homeless drug zombie stabs you in the neck, but they certainly will be there if the IRS doesn't get their check.
Every smart person who has endured hardship in this country is hellbent on becoming more self-reliant, independent, and off the grid. We call that a clue.

You can call the direction right and still lose money on 0DTE time decay.
Look at the attached video.
On the video, one $SPX 7,670 call falls from $1,869 to $182.
SPX sits at 7,623.68 the whole time.
Same price. Same strike. Far less money.
The loss isn't bad luck. It isn't a wrong call. It's theta.
Theta = the value an option loses every hour.
Here's the full breakdown 👇
What the surface in the video is pricing:
→ Left to right is SPX price, back to front is hours left.
→ At 9:30 AM, with 6.5 hours left, one 7,670 call is worth $1,869.
→ With 3 hours left and SPX unchanged, it is worth $867.
→ With 1 hour left, it is worth $182.
→ By 3:00 PM the model puts it near $182, with VIX at 19.45.
Why being right late still loses:
→ 7,670 is the modeled ceiling, where big call hedges sit.
→ SPX must reach 7,670 before the clock drains the call.
→ Today's priced range runs from 7,530 to 7,717.
→ 93.4 points is the whole move options price for today.
→ The weekly priced move is plus or minus 208.8 points.
7,623.68 x 19.45% / 15.87 = 93.4 points
What to do tomorrow morning:
1. Before 9:30 AM, divide the VIX by 15.87 to get the daily move.
2. Mark 7,577 and 7,670, the halfway lines, as your targets.
3. If SPX has not reached 7,670 with 3 hours left, close the call.
The right direction at the wrong hour is still a loss.
That is the whole method. It is one division, and the number is 15.87.
It is called The 15.87 Rule. It has the decay table: what one 0DTE call is worth at 9:50, at 11:30 and at 3:00 with SPX sitting still.
It costs nothing. Click the link below or in my bio.

ES | 23 October | Auction Update
ES is testing the lower boundary of contract value following another overnight decline.
Volfix M5: 281.8k volume, −4,437 aggressor delta, with an overnight low of 7,673.50.
Price has recovered from that low but remains near 7,684.25 (contract VAL).
Key levels:
• 7,707.75 | Wintara D1
• 7,700 | Overnight high-volume area
• 7,685.50 | Wintara D2
• 7,684.25 | Contract VAL
• 7,663 | Wintara D3
Acceptance back inside contract value would improve the auction. Failure to reclaim VAL keeps downside pressure in focus.

I liked this reversal signal in the @Jigsaw_Trading 3 Day Composite Volume Profile: Excess / Absorption at the low followed by a second test with less volume. Price then reversed to test VAH 7689.

We’re back. All services operational.
Someone leaked a critical PHP exploit before the patch dropped. For likes. So we switched everything off.
Here’s why, and what you should ask your broker or prop firm right now:

I'm not necessarily proud to be in the trading space.
I have a true passion for trading and treat it like an art.
The snakes, frauds, and wolf in sheep's clothing in this industry are pathetic. An absolute disgrace to the art of the skillset. As a seasoned trader I see right through it in a few minutes studying someone. But many get fooled.
Many people are getting fleeced; getting sold unrealistic expectations that can put them in financial ruin or make them believe they are doing something wrong not getting rich overnight.
Eventually many learn the hard way that truly profitable trading is actually uncomfortable most of the time and really not that flashy.
It's why I trade and teach live on the screen. You see the entries, the exits, the hesitation, the waiting, the losses, and the wins that make the system strong. You see in front of your eyes what it takes to make money.
If you are going to sell anything, flash payouts, or teach others in this field, your audience and clients deserve to watch the real thing with lessons being delviered unfiltered, in real time consistently.
Everything else can be gamed, edited, faked, and tricked in a very large handful of creative ways.
Choose very wisely who you look up to and who you take advice from. Don't be discouraged about your progress by the garbage you see on this platform. Ponder your mistakes and let them be your report card to success, brick by brick.
💡Remember this post because I will revisit it at a later date.
$SPX finally lost the 10:35 low at 14:02.
New session low 7,639.86 at 14:04. Right on the modeled 7,640 node.
Then 15 points back up in 9 minutes.
And the nodes it tested shrank:
7,645: −38% since 14:01
7,640: −45%
0DTE levels get rewritten while price is on them
I caught the drop for +14.25 points, copied across 6 accounts (2 live / 4 evals). Target was the re-anchored -0.5 EM (7696). Using @FlowBots1 @Jigsaw_Trading @Gexa_ai #Trio for confirmation: 7711 to 7697.75 @PremiumFTs @TheChopZoneTV @daahhvid @Su_BBT @DoeblerEli
