Women’s spaces are for women. Behind bars or not.
Federal prisons have placed biological men inside women’s facilities, in their housing units, their showers, and their transport vans. Female inmates have no locked door, no way out, and nowhere to go. A prison sentence should never come with the added threat of sexual assault.
We introduced the Prison Rape Prevention Act to require the Bureau of Prisons to house every inmate only with others of the same BIOLOGICAL sex, and transport them the same way. No exceptions for self-identification. No loopholes for gender ideology.
A man in a women’s prison isn’t progressive. It’s predatory policy. Women’s safety is non-negotiable.
