When @FindingPaola said her goal is to live a beautiful life...a life filled with passion...a life where she gets to merge her passions. Yeah, I felt that
This year, forget accomplishments, goals, intentions, resolutions, and anything society tells me I should focus on. I’m just happy and grateful to be here today.

Many of my wins were personal this year. Traumas, struggles, and challenges that I’ve survived, faced, and conquered. It’s ok if you don’t have pictures to showcase your wins. You don’t always need the accolades. Only you know what’s real. You’re doing amazing. ❤️

Let’s do this for @GessicaGeneus and Haïti. #fredaoscars2022 #Oscars2022 @TheAcademy
If you are a black woman, even if you have never talked about politics, shown up to protests, shared your views on social issues, you could never be “apolitical”. Your entire existence is political.
Whenever someone starts a sentence with, “What we need to do is…” I disconnect. That means they don’t plan on doing anything but talk. I’m more interested in people who start sentences with “Let us…” Let’s learn listen before we start shouting. Lead with action.

Than you to @findingpaola for providing the proper ways we can support Haiti and for this very important message
Supporting #ayiticommunitytrust @HopeforHaitiFL | Share any other orgs or people doing the necessary work on the ground in Haiti.
In situations like the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti yesterday, it's always normal to feel helpless, but we are not. We have the power to show up. Let's help support and amplify the voices of individuals and organizations (Haitian led) doing the work.
My heart is with the people of Haiti suffering more trauma and devastation imaginable. Nou se wozo. Let's stay hopeful. We can't give up.
