Fan voting sucks. But also, why aren't we voting for our guy??? Laughable "award."

Bres wants to sign more pitchers? That's so surprising & nothing we would have seen coming.
Craig Breslow on what he wants to improve aside from his offense:
“I think we’ll look to build pitching depth … Having flexibility and optionable pitching depth is incredibly valuable.”

PRAYER FOR THE PRESENT MOMENT:
Dear God, I spend so much time reliving yesterday or anticipating tomorrow
that I lose sight of the only time that is really mine, the present moment.
You give today one moment at a time.
That's all I have, all I ever will have.
Give the faith which knows that each moment contains exactly what is best for me.
Give the hope which trusts You enough
to forget past failings & future trials.
Give the love which makes each moment
an anticipation of eternity with You.
I ask this in the name of Jesus who is the same yesterday, today & forever. Amen.
"The Sox view lineup upgrades as more critical than rotation help."
The Boston Globe's @alexspeier writes it "seems unlikely" the Red Sox bring Sonny Gray back in free agency, given Garrett Crochet's expected return to health and Payton Tolle's emergence.
Speier calls Gray "fantastic" and the team's best starter in 2026. The Sox view lineup upgrades as more critical than rotation help.

Hi y'all, at the end of August, I was approved for disability. I’m now in the next stage of the process. Until payments begin, I’m still struggling to stay in my home and reach the point where I can work again within my benefit limits. If you can help:

Birthday shoutout to Johnny Damon born November 5, 1973. Damon played with the #RedSox from 2002 through 2005 and was part of the 2004 Reverse the Curse #WorldSeries winning team that won Boston's first title in 86 years. He was a proud member of The Idiots.
Let's GO!!!
That’s our Bowser!

STATEMENT FROM JACK CAMPBELL
My family and I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support we’ve received over the past few days. It means more to us than words can express.
I’m incredibly encouraged by the progress I’ve made in such a short period of time. I have full movement in my lower body, and I’m continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body. I know there’s still work ahead, but I remain very optimistic. I’m taking things one day at a time, staying positive, and focusing on getting better.
My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we’ll get through this.
I especially want to thank the athletic trainers and medical personnel who responded and cared for me on the field. I know those were difficult moments, and I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and care you showed me. The way you handled everything and looked after me when I needed it most is something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I also can’t say enough about the incredible care I’ve received from the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Lions medical staff. They’ve been amazing to me and my family throughout this process, and I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.
To my teammates, coaches, and everyone in the Lions organization, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. This team is a family to me, and the way everyone has been there for me means everything. I’m proud to be a Detroit Lion and couldn’t ask to be surrounded by a better group of people.
One thing I’ve learned about Detroit is that this city is built on toughness, resilience, and grit. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach this challenge.
Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We feel the love, and I can’t thank everyone enough.
God is good. My faith is strong.

Timely message, as always, from Coach. And who doesn't love a good baseball metaphor?
It can't all be high fives and giggles all the time.
There's got to be some missed grounders, some punch-outs, some fumbles.
How do you react? Do you bounce back?
When something goes sideways, I tell myself there's a lesson here. It's up to me to learn the lesson.
How else can He test our spiritual growth if we never face adversity?
The real question isn't whether you'll get knocked down. it's what you do when you're on the ground!
@Pirates
Make a difference today,
Love Clint
