🎙️ One of the most common streamer questions I see is: "USB vs. XLR Microphone?" The answer depends less on which mic is "better" and more on your setup and environment. 🎤 USB Condenser (i.e: Wave:3) • Plug-and-play via USB • Captures a lot of detail and vocal clarity. • Great for creators who want an all-in-one solution • Works well in quieter or treated rooms. • Includes Wave Link for powerful audio routing and mixing. 🎙️ XLR Dynamic (i.e: Wave DX) • Requires an XLR interface (like the new Wave XLR Pro). • Rejects more background noise than a condenser microphone. • Excels in untreated rooms with keyboard clicks, fans, or other ambient noise. • Produces the close, broadcast-style sound many streamers and podcasters aim for. So... which one should you choose? ✅ Choose Wave:3 if you: • Want the simplest setup. • Are new to streaming. • Stream in a relatively quiet space. • Want great audio with minimal equipment. ✅ Choose Wave DX + Wave XLR Pro if you: • Want room to grow your setup. • Stream in a noisy environment. • Prefer a broadcast-style sound. • Want the flexibility of a professional XLR workflow. One thing I always say: A better microphone won't help if you don't know what you're doing. Keep the mic close to your mouth, speak across the front of it, monitor your audio levels, and spend time learning EQ, compression, and noise suppression. Good audio comes from both your equipment and how you use it. Would you all like a video on the Elgato Wave Link software on how to set these up?

People will pretend to be your friend to build their own streams and as soon as you don't benefit them, they leave. Its hard to determine the real ones but I promise there are some great people on twitch who are just tryna vibe and make friends. It's okay to trust again 🫂
