My internet adventure is strange. I suppose I’m a minor influencer now. Not my intent, but here we are. So…here’s my social media experience: I’m tap dancing on a landmine. My airline follows me, my union & even the FAA follows me. This is not a good feeling. Any one of them can decide to stick a sword in me & I’m done. My undergrad degree is journalism & I have a desire to write. I kind of wish I didn’t, as there is very little personal benefit to posting. I could fly two hours at the airline a month & make a lot more than I get paid by Twitter. I want to post in a way that is relatable & honest. Not necessarily the Gonzo journalism style, but not the polished publicity you often get. I want you to see me setting my alarm for 02:00, flying the redeye, getting my chain yanked by crew scheduling &, like yesterday, screwing up. I still feel ashamed about being late. I’ll eventually live that down, but I think it’s important to convey that the clock rules my life & I make mistakes sometimes. Posting that way can be a problem. The swords are all pointed at me & every once in a while, I get poked. I took a week off last time I got seriously poked, and tried to learn from it. I’m trying to inspire & educate. Aviation has a bit of an access problem, and the barriers can look impossible to overcome if you don’t have an inside connection. They are not, though, and there are plenty of opportunities if you only know where to look. I want to show you where to look & give you a pat on the back as you start your journey. Or as you help your kids start theirs. I studied journalism in part because I thought the doors to aviation were closed to me, but a friend of my Father’s asked me to come visit in the Wing Commander’s office at Kirtland AFB, NM. As it turned out, he was the Wing Commander & it was his office. My father had helped him go from Enlisted to Officer, then he rose through the ranks. Dad had asked a favor. He noted I’d been paying for my own flying lessons & told me he knew how to make the Air Force pay me to fly. Sounded like a good deal; flying lessons were expensive & I was having a hard time affording it. I was starting to go a month between lessons for finances. So, I agreed & Bobby Wright helped me put in my application to the Air Force. I got rejected twice, but on the third attempt, my parents were at my place when I got back from an overnight shift as a security guard & they had a bottle of champagne. That was 26 years ago. There are plenty of other aviation outlets out there, and they do good work. I’m trying to add something they don’t. SO… I owe Colonel Bobby Wright a debt. I owe my Dad, as well. Both have passed away, but the debt remains. This – posting on Twitter, as strange as it sounds – is how I see myself repaying it. I’m here to tell you that you don’t need a special insider to get here. You can do it on your own. I’m also here to tell you that it’s not usually that glorious, that you’ll be pissed at crew scheduling & that you’ll feel like a zombie sometimes. I’m here to tell you that it’s a strain on family life, that it’s going to beat you up, that you have a higher risk of cancer & that you will sometimes fail. You’ll hate yourself for failing. I’m here – in part – to be the antithesis to the glory & the ads, and that means posting some downers sometimes & being honest. I’m also here to tell you it’s fucking awesome & as long as you are in it for the love of defying gravity rather than money or some idea of prestige, you’ll never regret your choice. Getting snowed on at 04:00 while doing the exterior inspection of the jet can be either demoralizing or an affirmation, it just depends on you. I will continue tap dancing on a landmine. Man, I hope it doesn’t blow up, but I gave up on aviation as a young man because I had an idea that they were all supermen, and I wasn’t. It wasn’t true. You can do it. It’s hard, but if you want it, you can have it.

Having spent a long time watching Elon Musk, and having talked with him, I believe I understand what he understood before almost anyone else. And it's something every one of us needs to understand now. Western civilization is not one civilization among many. It is the one that gave the world freedom of thought, modern science and the dignity of the individual. And it is under attack. Not by peoples, but by ideologies that want it dead. If it dies, the world will not become more just. It will become poorer, more brutal and darker. For everyone, including those who hate it. Why? Because civilizations are not interchangeable. We were told that any culture could be blended with any other, like mixing colors, and that the result would always be harmonious. It isn't true. A society where women are equal to men cannot coexist without friction with a worldview in which a woman's testimony is worth half a man's. A society where you can criticize God, change your religion or have none cannot absorb, without fracturing, a worldview in which apostasy is paid for with your life. Every people has its own genius and moves at its own pace. But not all values are equal, and you cannot build a nation on laws that contradict each other. Saying so is not racist. Racism is about blood. I am talking about laws, customs and values. And those values belong to no race: a Japanese, a Senegalese or an Iranian can make them his own, and millions have. That is exactly why they are worth defending. Let's remember where they come from. It all begins in Greece. In Athens, for the first time, men decide that truth does not descend from a throne but is sought through reason, and that a city governs itself through debate. Socrates chooses death rather than give up thinking freely. At Salamis, a handful of free cities stops the greatest empire in the world. Then comes Rome. Rome invents law that binds everyone, the citizen who holds rights, the Republic. And one immense idea: you can become Roman without being born Roman. You become Roman by adopting its laws. Christianity adds the most revolutionary idea in history: every human being, slave and emperor alike, has infinite worth. Then France. The cathedrals, those ships of stone our ancestors built over centuries for descendants they would never see. Descartes, Pascal, Voltaire. The Declaration of the Rights of Man. And Napoleon, who gives France the Civil Code, the lycées, and one simple principle: careers open to talent. Murat, the son of an innkeeper, ends up a Marshal of the Empire and King of Naples. The Civil Code spreads across much of Europe and still shapes the law of dozens of countries today. And this civilization goes on to abolish slavery, which had been practiced on every continent since the dawn of time, to push back the plague, smallpox and the night itself, and to set foot on the Moon. Peoples of the West, be proud of this history. Proud does not mean blind. Every civilization has committed crimes: conquest, slavery, war. Ours is the one that went furthest in examining its own faults, to the point of abolishing what it had once practiced. This capacity to question itself is its greatest strength. And that is exactly the strength now being turned against it. Because for decades, this magnificent system has been getting hacked. Not by an army. By an alliance of two forces that have nothing in common except one enemy: us. The first is communism. It lost the economic war, lost the Cold War, lost history's verdict with its tens of millions of dead. But it never lost the universities. It survived by changing costumes: class struggle became the struggle of the oppressed against their oppressors, and the West was declared guilty of everything. It taught our children to be ashamed of their ancestors, their borders and their culture. It is the root cause, because before you can bring down a civilization, you have to take away its will to defend itself. The second is political Islam. I am not talking about Muslims, many of whom came here precisely to escape this ideology and are its first victims. I am talking about a political project that wants to place religious law above civil law. It has no doubts. It feels no shame. It rushes into the void the first one dug. One disarms. The other advances. And let no one on the left believe they will stay in control. History has already staged this play. In 1978, Michel Foucault was enthusing over the Iranian revolution. Iran's communist party, the Tudeh, backed Khomeini and called on Iranians to vote for his Islamic constitution. By 1983, its leaders had been arrested, the party banned, and its chiefs paraded on television to confess their “crimes.” In 1988, thousands of political prisoners were executed, communist activists among them. The second always ends up devouring the first. Useful idiots are only useful for a while. So here is my call to every Western people. To the French, the Italians, the Poles, the Germans, the Spanish, the Americans, to all of you. We are at a turning point. What we do in the next ten years will decide what our grandchildren are allowed to say, believe, write and love. I am not asking you to die for the West. I am asking you for something harder: to live for it. Learn its history and pass it on. Have children. Speak without fear, even when they call you every name in the book. Vote, get involved, run for office. Build companies, schools, factories, families. Refuse the shame they are trying to inject into you. And stop surrendering anything that makes us who we are: freedom of thought, equality before the law, the dignity of every person. The historian Arnold Toynbee understood it: civilizations are not murdered, they commit suicide. And those who think they can let the West fall without paying the price should remember the Iranian communists. They helped tear down what they despised, and then they were next. The Greeks at Salamis were outnumbered. They won because they knew what they were defending. We are the heirs of Athens, Rome, Notre-Dame and the Civil Code. It is no accident that the rockets that will carry humanity to Mars are being built in a free civilization. It is time to prove ourselves worthy of what we were given. The West is worth defending. And no one will defend it for us.

Thanks to the blood poured into the soil by English, Scottish, Scots-Irish, Irish, Welsh and German men, nearly exclusively Protestant Christians, at this little mountain at Valley Forge is why we are Americans. I totally and completely reject the idea that America is a subjective idea based on morally neutral ideals, as does anyone who reads the words our Founding Fathers wrote. That’s a humanist lie intended to subvert the true, Christian roots of our country, which was built explicitly for Christianity to flourish, and it is subversive because it erodes the moral foundation that is rightfully ours to reject and expel anyone who doesn’t agree to live peacefully under this standard of truth. These ideals of blood and soil and heritage and faith are things that people like @SlowToWrite are incapable of understanding because he's not an American. He's an illegal lawbreaker from Ghana. And his removal from our country can not come swift enough.

🚨🚨 THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 7: THE SECRET MEGA-ALLIANCE WAITING FOR A RED LINE TO BE CROSSED 🚨 What do you call a mega-alliance that: • Covers hundreds, if not thousands, of protest organizations • Covers all the lawfare-related organizations • Liasions with governors when a Constitutional crisis is crossed • Consults federal workers on how to block emergency efforts • Runs a situation room for the midterms and beyond • Is credited to regime change expert and professor Erica Chenoweth • Is operationalized by National Security Leaders for America, an organization of 1,600 retired officers, spies, and diplomats • ... and determines the "red lines" for mobilization of the above? Meet the United Democracy Alliance (UDA). UDA is the secret alliance behind the messaging we saw this week: • JB Pritzker's warning that states will "strongly resist" • Governor Newsom's office declaring a "CODE RED" • Norm Eisen talking about "war rooms" • Slotkin predicting a "national security incident" You will not find any mentions of the United Democracy Alliance (UDA) on the web. It is a mega-alliance of resistance NGOs ready to deploy on a moment's notice, monitoring every action President Trump takes and monitoring every polling place. We only can put together the pieces by recordings. Some key quotes: • "if there's a moment where there's a constitutional crisis, like one of the UDA four red lines, if they get crossed… governors then become the kind of lead anchor for political power." (Zeitz, Aug 6) • "the big, big, big, big, big tent that's being organized in the blocking community so that if there is a red line crossed in terms of a constitutional crisis, like, everybody's already pre-organized." (Reiff, Aug 5) • "We are also starting to consult federal workers on how to do some blocking inside the govt agencies during emergency situations" (Eric Manton, Zoom chat, Aug 6) According to @JeffClarkUS , the last point above about federal workers conspiring to block emergency responses may violate serious statutes. More on federal workers involvement in Drop 8. Compilation of recordings below:

🚨🚨 THE ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK / THE DEMOCRACY FILES: A PRIMER 🚨 I will be using this thread to track all drops, so bookmark it. I spent most of yesterday backing everything (now 312 gigabytes) up in various sources and getting the materials out to others. I also produced an AI video (below) to explain the whole thing to others are not on 𝕏 - feel free to distribute. Here's the primer: USAID, the foreign aid agency, had a democracy office. Inside the agency, it was called DRG. Officially, DRG administered "democracy assistance." They'd go inside countries they thought were sliding into authoritarianism and help the opposition there. That assistance included election monitoring, judicary support, independent media, and civil society building. You may have heard the term "color revolution." The model comes from Serbia in 2000, where trained student activists brought down Milosevic with the help of Western governments, after sustained protests. With the help of USAID's democracy office, this model was implemented in many other countries to topple governments: Georgia's "Rose Revolution" in 2003, Ukraine's "Orange Revolution" in 2004, and many more. Then last year, DOGE shut down USAID. But the USAID democracy office didn't stop. They formed a group called the Democracy Renewal Group, the same initials as their office (USAID Democracy, Human Rights, Governance). Their goal: apply their own playbook to the United States itself. This goal became a plan, called Renew American Democracy (RAD). It invoked the "4 B's" framework. Block - use lawfare and protests to make life harder for the Trump administration. Bridge & Belong - control dialogue and win people over. The final and most important B is Build. Build means redesigning the American government itself, and the crisis is the opening. In their own words: "We can take that breakdown moment and leverage it for a big structural reform, you know, refounding moment." - Danielle Reiff, DRG lead. Calls show DRG working alongside DSA on ideas of creating a different government, one that does away with the Constitution itself. DRG does not run the Block operations. They hand it to UDA, the United Democracy Alliance. One organizer calls it a "huge galaxy": lawsuits, street protests, non-cooperation. They list No Kings, Indivisible, MoveOn, 50501, and many other mega-activist NGOs among their members. Another organizer calls UDA Erica Chenoweth's project. Chenoweth is the Harvard professor behind the three-and-half-percent rule of regime change: get that share of a country's populace onto the streets, and historically, the movement wins. The UDA is very "hush-hush." They have no website, no roster, no filings. Then come the red lines: things the Trump administration could do, such as calling the Insurrection Act on protesters, that would mean that the federal government, in their words, "crosses the threshold into illegitimacy." Nobody voted on those lines. There was no public debate. These red lines were developed within secretive working groups, and in a paper addressed to governors and staff. In the words of Reiff/DRG: "So that if there is a red line crossed in terms of a Constitutional crisis, like everyone's already pre-organized. And so Mike Smith actually said, he goes, oh, you guys have the day after tomorrow plan." Cross a line, and the paper's options include states refusing to lend their resources to federal officials, and governors convening what it calls a "Third Continential Congress." Running the UDA's Insurrection Act working group: Rear Admiral Mike Smith (RET) of National Security Leaders of America (NSL4A). NSL4A is also credited with operationalizing UDA, the blocking operations. NSL4A consists of about 1,600 ex-officers, spies, diplomats. They're turning red lines into indicators and running a situation room to monitor them throughout the midterms and beyond. The NSL4A's lawyers told them to stop recording meetings in case of subpoenas. But the rest of the network continued to record. DRG works in conjunction with Renew to Thrive (R2T), which ended up accidentally publishing 400+ calls and thousands of documents. These calls and documents were never meant for our eyes, but it's them, on tape. Thousands of NGOs and billions of dollars are involved in this endeavor. Most of them believe they're saving democracy. The problem is that people who spent their careers deciding when other countries' governments had lost their legitimacy wrote that test for ours, in private, and planned for what comes after. Who decides when your government is legitimate?

If you’re like me, you want names and faces attached to anyone positioning themselves to shape the future of this country, how it is governed, and the decisions that will land on your life, your family, your children, and your grandchildren. I don’t want some shadow figure quietly deciding my government is null and void without at least knowing who they are and what credentials they claim for making that call for every American at once. DataRepublican just laid out the connective tissue behind the post-midterm plans, and I put the ten key persons of interest in one place so you can see the actual people, their backgrounds, and the organizations they currently run. I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
On a ri.

To all you commie freaks for whom I've become such a headache...this is why I do this. This is my parents coming home to see everything they'd lost because of your stupid commie leaders. Am I fucking up your little campaigns? Shouldn't have killed John Wick's dog. I had a good life, raising my boys, feeding hummingbirds. You stupid communists defunded our fire department, never maintained the brush on your government property, and you gave $750K raises to the morons who drained our reservoirs during fire season. Fuck. All. Of. You. I will never stop until every last communist is expelled from polite society.

Oregon's affordable housing industrial complex is awash in billions in taxpayer money, federal tax credits, private investors...as well as serious questions surrounding lack of accountability and corruption. And now the person who overseas the lion's share of that system (Oregon Housing and Community Services - or OHCS), is facing a serious ethics review. OHCS executive director, Andrea Bell, failed to disclose her husband's employment with JH Brawner, a consulting firm involved in the multiple affordable housing projects that received 10's of millions of dollars from her agency. Bell only amended her financial disclosures once reporters began asking her questions. But there's an even bigger story here: OHSC has distributed more than $1.4 billion in state housing subsidies over five years. That doesn't include the enormous value of federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) allocated through the agency. Here's how LIHTC works: Developers receive allocations of federal tax credits, which are then sold to private investors in exchange for capital. Investors then receive federal tax benefits over ten years, while developers receive financing for projects. It's an incredibly complex system that brings together government agencies (such as OHCS), private developers (such as Community Development Partners - or CDP), banks and financial institutions, and large investment firms. And the public deserves to know exactly where the money goes. Nearly two years ago, we investigated Milepost 5, a Portland affordable housing complex that had descended into deplorable conditions (as affordable housing properties tend to do) despite millions in public subsidies and tax-credit financing. Our investigation revealed that the investment entity CDP, a private California company that develops many affordable housing projects in the Portland-metro area, is a subsidiary of Aegon Group, an international hedge fund worth north of $300 billion. Although OHCS awarded CDP $3.3 million for upgrades and repairs at Milepost 5, serious maintenance problems persisted, along with drug dealing, squatters, and repeated complaints from residents and neighbors. At one point, there was even a raid by Homeland Security Investigations at the property, in which they arrested multiple drug dealers who had taken up residence in the building. CDP claimed that seismic upgrades consumed most of the $3.3 million, despite an earlier estimate of approximately $350,000 for the seismic work. According to CDP, this left insufficient funding to address many of the property's other problems. After contacting multiple people within CDP, OHCS, and local government, we were unable to obtain a satisfactory accounting of exactly how the $3.3 million was spent. Everyone involved just wanted the questions about the funds to go away. In fact, a local whistleblower who lives near Milepost 5 was threatened with arrest after U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley’s office allegedly identified him as a man who had been behaving threateningly outside the senator’s office. There was just one problem: the whistleblower was out of town on a fishing trip at the time, and the man in question bore no resemblance to him. Nevertheless, the accusation reportedly led to an attempt to have the whistleblower arrested. Even after the mistaken identity was established, neither Merkley nor his office offered the whistleblower an apology. Senator Merkley needs to answer to this egregious behavior. While OHCS did publicly admonish CDP for its failures at Milepost 5 at a meeting, two weeks later, the agency approved $43.6 million to CDP for the Julia West affordable housing project. In a news story by ProPublica (see below) the publication exposed how Oregon law shields detailed financial information about subsidized housing developments from public scrutiny. There are billions in state subsidies. Federal tax credits benefitting private investors. Complex ownership structures. Limited public access to financial records. And now an ethics review involving the director of the agency responsible for overseeing much of it. Both the Bell controversy and Milepost 5 raise fundamental questions about oversight, transparency, and whose interests Oregon's affordable housing system is actually serving. Because it doesn't seem to serve the people who are unfortunate enough to have to live in places like Milepost 5 or any of the other dozens of affordable housing projects in this city that are constantly falling into disrepair. It seems to mostly serve out of state corporations and huge international hedge funds. The state (i.e. Gov. Kotek) and local government tell us that affordable housing should be about providing safe, stable homes for the people who really need them - not for moving enormous sums of public money through an increasingly complicated financial industrial complex, one that appears to be rife with corruption. Below are the articles from ProPublica and our article about Milepost 5.

.@VP: "There has been no company in the United States, unfortunately, that has abused this system more than Microsoft." Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers in 2025 after certifying that it could not find qualified American employees — yet the company was approved for more than 6,000 H-1Bs and filed 3,682 PERM applications, including nearly 1,000 applications for the same positions as the laid off American workers.
.@VP: "The H1-B visa program is meant to allow companies to bring in really the best of the best from outside the United States of America for positions that are completely impossible to fill with American workers. Unfortunately, the program has become rife with fraud."

10.1%. 9.6%. These numbers deserve public scrutiny. Oregon’s Universal Health Plan Governance Board has modeled a new health-care financing system that includes: • 10.1% healthcare income tax • 9.6% employer payroll tax The question Oregonians should be asking is simple: What would this mean for your paycheck, your employer, and the cost of doing business in Oregon? The state is developing the plan now, with lawmakers expected to consider the proposal in 2027. Oregonians deserve to see the numbers, the assumptions, and the full plan before decisions are made. bit.ly/4hLv6br @PDXReal1

New York Democrats have declared WAR ON THE AMISH. Thanks to their unconstitutional attack on religion, they're now able to fine EACH unvaccinated Amish child $2,000 EVERY SINGLE DAY. ⠀ The $118,000 bill is one day, not the cap. Three one-room schools alone already owe that much for 59 children, at $2,000 each. ⠀ Health Commissioner Mary Bassett imposed it on December 15, 2022. She called the sum conservative because it assumed only one day out of compliance. ⠀ Dygert Road was billed $52,000 for 26 children. Pleasant View was billed $46,000 for 23. ⠀ Shady Lane was billed $20,000 for 10. ⠀ Footnote 9 of the Second Circuit opinion records the state's view. Each day an unvaccinated student attends is a fresh violation and a fresh $2,000 fine. ⠀ Another day for those 59 children is another $118,000. A 180-day year at that rate is about $21 million, and the families say they cannot pay the first bill. ⠀ Joseph Miller, Jonas Smucker, and Ezra Wengerd run the schools. The schools sit in Clymer and Heuvelton, plus the Canajoharie settlement, and take no public money. ⠀ They had a religious exemption for decades. On June 13, 2019, Democrats repealed it after measles spread through Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Rockland County. ⠀ Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill. Governor Kathy Hochul left it in force. ⠀ A parent may not excuse a child for faith. ⠀ Senator James Skoufis said the exemption was made up and fake. Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz called it utter garbage. ⠀ Counsel Aaron Siri told the New York Post the families can pay only if the state takes their land. Some in the community have talked of leaving the state. ⠀ The case is Miller versus McDonald. The Second Circuit ruled against them on June 30 in 2026. ⠀ A Supreme Court petition was due around September 28. Make sure EVERYONE sees this. If WE don't stand up for these incredible men and women - WHO WILL?!?!?! ⠀ Where is the “my body my choice crowd now”?

VOTE OREGON RED! Are you ready for Universal healthcare forced on us by TINA KOTEK! She isn’t going to ask us. Compared to what we’re paying currently, this is going to cost us a lot more. Just like Canada, we’re going to have to wait to see doctors. Why, because most doctors will leave our state. Doctors pay will be capped so they will either leave the state, or choose to work half time. Which state will you end going to for your health care?
Governor Kotek and Democrat leaders broke the law to hide their government-run healthcare takeover until after you vote. The Universal Health Plan Governance Board was required to release its report on September 15. They didn’t. Kotek and the committee chairs approved the delay anyway. Legislative Counsel says they had no authority to do it. They buried it because voters would reject it. What is already known from the draft: • Seniors lose traditional Medicare and get forced into the state system • Your tax dollars pay for full coverage for people here illegally • A new income tax hits AGI, before deductions, so working families pay more A report that takes away Medicare and raises taxes does not get shelved by accident three weeks before an election. That is a cover-up. The board just called an emergency meeting for Thursday, October 8. Open the records. Release the plan. Let Oregonians see it before November 3.

Oregon is quietly working on one of the largest tax increases in state history. The state’s Universal Health Plan Governance Board has modeled funding Oregon’s proposed single-payer healthcare system with: • 10.1% healthcare income tax • 9.6% employer payroll tax • Higher corporate income taxes • Higher Corporate Activity Tax • Higher lodging taxes The income tax would apply to income above 200% of the federal poverty level and is intended to replace premiums, deductibles and copays. But here’s where this gets even more interesting: Oregon law required the board to present a comprehensive implementation plan by September 15, 2026. That deadline has come and gone. Instead, the state is now talking about “draft plan models,” with lawmakers considering the issue in 2027. Whether you support single-payer healthcare or not, Oregonians deserve to know: What happened to the plan the Legislature required by September 15—and why are we discussing potential double-digit new taxes without it? This deserves far more public scrutiny than it’s getting. Thank you @RepYunker for bringing this to light. Can Oregonians afford another 10% of their income to go to taxes? Below is the state’s own modeled rates. And no, those aren’t typos. Oregon’s Universal Health Plan board is modeling an ADDITIONAL 10.1% healthcare income tax and 9.6% employer payroll tax to finance its universal healthcare proposal.

Single-Payer Healthcare (where the state pays all medical bills) is incredibly expensive. They only way it can work is to SIGNIFICANTLY raise your taxes. What's more it leads to Universal Healthcare where there are no private providers and all healthcare is controlled by the government. Democrats don't want you to know THAT is what you are voting for when you vote Democrat in Oregon this November.
