Whittingham said last night he wasn’t making any changes until after the season. Less than 24 hours later Beck is fired. Something happened behind closed doors. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if Whittingham was given an ultimatum and these last three games are his chance to save his own job.

Jason Beck is being replaced by the only other coach on staff whose performance has rivaled Beck’s in terms of disappointment.
Jim Harding is interim OC

No scandals. No horny texts. No affairs with staffers. No clue what he’s doing. Just dogshit ass football.

Fantastic play call there. Dolphins sold out on an interior run.

There is no coming back from this for Kyle Whittingham. It’s not because he’s 5-4. We could be patient with 5-4 if it was clear he was building something. We could trust the process if the staff was fighting for progress and just coming up short. However, the reason Michigan fans are done with Kyle Whittingham and Jason Beck is because it feels like something we love is under attack from the inside. There is a blatant lack of understanding of our traditions, our rivalries, and our identity. And worse, there is a lack of effort to try to understand. Then you couple that with a product on the field that is worse than almost every team in country and head coach who refuses to show any passion during the games. Don’t patronize us by saying β€œI don’t know what’s wrong right now, but I promise I’m going to fix it.” No you’re not. It’s clear that you aren’t willing to do what it takes. We lost the Little Brown Jug and Paul Bunyan to bad teams, and we lost to Indiana at home for the first time since 1967. You know what’s next? Our sell out streak at the Big House. You know how I know people will stop going to games? Because for the first time in my life I’m considering not even watching the game next week. Not just because we are bad, but because we are bad and there is no hope under the current leadership. The loss last night was worse than the App State loss. It was worse than the Rich Rod loss to Toledo. Michigan currently has a roster that could be in CFP contention and an NIL program that is second to none. And yet, while playing the worst team in the Big Ten, our in-state rivals, we never really even had a chance. And then last night Whittingham had the nerve to say he’s not making a coaching change during the season, and when asked how he knows it will ever get better he referenced the 2027 recruiting class. You think players are going to come back next year after throwing them under the bus this year for something that is clearly a coaching disaster? @WardeManuel I know you thought hiring Kyle Whittingham was going to be your last big decision and then you could ride off into the sunset, however, Michigan needs you. We need you to figure out how to remove this staff before you leave. I understand why you hired him. It was the best decision given the circumstances. But we must make a move for the players, the fans, the alumni, and pride of Michigan Football.

Stop saying this is Jason Beck's fault. It was his fault a month ago. Now it's on the buffoon who refuses to hold him accountable.

Put Mahogany back in. Wtf is Dan Campbell doing? The highest graded guard almost every week is getting benched for a guy that gets absolutely dominated every time he plays. Even in preseason Miles Frazier gets killed.

Unless Mahogany has committed murder, there is zero reason to keep him riding the pine! Spent 2 months building O-Line cohesion just to swap a healthy member of it out to the bench!

Miles Frazier has been the worst player on the field so far. If Mahogany for whatever weird reason isn’t available then put someone else in. He’s killing this team.
