Quinn Hughes after ruining the Wild's prospect pool:
A couple of Bill Guerin quotes about Quinn Hughes today, who didn’t sound all that confident:
“There’s nothing to talk about right now. What am I going to do, say ‘Please, please, please?’”
On the hypothetical in which QH still hasn’t made a decision after a while:
“I haven't really decided, at some point in time I'll have to try to figure things out and see what’s best for the team. I know one thing’s for sure: having Quinn on our team is what’s best for the team. And, you know, I don't know. I’ll be completely honest with you, I don’t know. I don't know what’s going to happen. I don't know what I’m going to do. There’s no date. What we're doing right now is focusing on our team and trying to win hockey games. That’s really it. I think some people want to make this more complicated than it really is — being the media. And it’s not that complicated."

Even though the Sharks aren't great, Askarov has played fantastic in his last 3 games - could be earning more starts!
Warsofsky talked about earlier in the year wanting a guy to take on that #1 role. Could be good in those Yahoo default leagues where save volume really matters.
Popping this one back up. Yaroslav Askarov has now stopped 108 of 113 shots over his last three starts. Is he turning into the dependable No. 1 goalie the Sharks need for their bid to end a seven-year playoff drought? (Free🔓)

Logan Thompson (lower body) is the first goalie off the ice after the Capitals optional morning skate, ahead of tonight's game vs. the Flyers.
Lekkerimaki has an insane release.
L2/PP1 currently - although he’s bounced around the lineup a bit even strength
Worth a look at leagues with 12+ teams (without plus minus, of course)
Love me some Seth Jones (my most drafted defensemen this year, 40/223 teams so almost 20% of my teams have him)
But there's clearly some good sell high potential right now. He's on pace for 94 points.
If you can flip for Dahlin or Werenski somehow, do it.
Seth Jones (0-3—3) factored on all three @FlaPanthers goals in the opening frame to record his third three-assist period with Florida and boost his 2026-27 totals to 1-14—15.

Adin Hill will start tonight. Craig says Carter Hart is being evaluated. Did not often a further update other than that they have a plan either way.
