7/8 | From field to laboratory 🧪 Selected drill samples are prepared for laboratory analysis to determine their gold content. The results are then assessed alongside geological observations to understand grade, thickness and the distribution of mineralisation. It’s this combination of geology and assays that guides future exploration.

6/8 | Building a geological record Representative drill chips are preserved in labelled trays, allowing geologists to examine changes in the rocks with depth. This information helps us understand the geology beneath Lander West and refine our interpretation of the gold system. Every hole adds to the dataset.

5/8 | Reading the rocks 🔎 Our geological team examines the drill cuttings, looking for changes in rock type, alteration, veining and sulphide minerals. These features can provide clues about the geological structures associated with gold mineralisation. Importantly, visual observations alone cannot establish gold grades.

4/8 | What are these piles? They’re drill cuttings recovered from different depths beneath the surface. Laid out in sequence, they provide a visual record of the geology. Notice the changes in colour? These can indicate different rock types, weathering and alteration. Each interval adds another piece to the geological picture.

3/8 | How does RC drilling work? ⛏️ A rotating drill bit breaks up the rock beneath the surface. Compressed air carries the rock fragments back to the surface through the drill rods, where they pass through a cyclone and are collected. This provides samples of the geology encountered at depth.

2/8 | Why slimline RC? Slimline Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling uses smaller-diameter equipment, providing a cost-effective and flexible way to test multiple exploration targets. At Lander West, this approach allows us to manage expenditure while gathering the geological information needed to guide our next steps. #FDR

Alongside confirming mobilisation for Stage II RC drilling, today’s announcement also marks the completion of soil sampling at Lander West. 🧪 Why did we do it? To fill gaps in historical sampling and build a more consistent dataset for gold and associated elements across the wider target area. ⏭️ Next Steps: We’ll combine the results with geology, geophysics and previous drilling to refine our understanding and rank targets for future exploration. ✅ Samples are being prepared for dispatch to ALS Laboratory in Adelaide. Stage II drilling will progress independently, testing targets already identified from Stage I and the existing datasets.
