Breast cancer touches the lives of countless families across our state, and tragically, we lose about 800 women to this disease each year in Missouri. Early detection through regular screenings, along with access to treatment and support, remains essential to saving lives. Yesterday’s ruling in Jackson County is disappointing, dangerous, and puts the safety of Missouri women in jeopardy. Abortion providers will no longer be held to basic standards that keep patients safe and hold clinics accountable. I stand behind @AGCHanaway in appealing this decision to the Missouri Supreme Court. Missourians do not support this irresponsible reversal of patient safety standards. Now more than ever, it’s critical for Missourians to vote YES on Amendment 3 in November and make it abundantly clear that our state stands for life and the protection of mothers.

100 years ago, a telegram was sent from Springfield to Washington, D.C., requesting that a new transcontinental road be named Route 66. Missouri is proud to be the birthplace of the iconic Mother Road.

Proud to once again welcome @secrollins to Missouri—the heartland and backbone of American agriculture. We had a fantastic tour of Riekhoff Farm, joined by Under Secretary Richard Fordyce, followed by a productive roundtable discussion with Missouri's ag leaders which focused on real issues and real solutions for our farmers and ranchers. From disaster relief and reducing red tape to their work on lowering input costs and strengthening @USDA's presence in Kansas City, I am grateful to President Trump and Secretary Rollins for continuing to put America's producers first.

This week, we joined the America 250 Missouri Commission to participate in the Leaves of Liberty Tree Dedication. The White Oak tree planted on the grounds of our Missouri State Capitol in honor of America 250 reminds us that the future of America is not a guarantee—it is shaped by the choices we make and the values we pass on to our next generation.
