Oooh what a great question!! And honestly? As long as they are doing what I *think* they're doing with the narrative, what I predict and what I want are fairly similar.
Okay, hold my hand, take a walk with me. I believe Vox is being set up for redemption over the next few seasons, so we'll see him start down that path in S3. Obviously he's not going to be the central focus like he was in S2, but based on things Christian and Viv have said he's still guaranteed to have his own storyline.
Viv has said "Vox has been humbled" and that he "stays an important character all the way through to the end [of the story]", and Christian has said that Vox has a "dark song" in S3 that he actually went back into the studio to record a "more vulnerable" take for. So I can only assume... Vox is absolutely going THROUGH it.
Think about it. He's on the outs with the other Vees (canonically his only friends). He's just a head (?) until he regenerates/gets another body. He's been publicly humiliated on an unimaginable scale. That post on the Voxtek website even said something about experiencing a "change in management", so he's even seemingly lost the company that HE started right when he got to Hell. And of course, there's the reason he fully broke down at the end of S2- he lost Alastor AGAIN.
Velvette and Valentino are going to be (justifiably) upset with him. Vox isn't going to take that well. It'll get bad enough between them that Vox will leave V Tower, quickly realize he literally has nowhere to go, and end up at the Hotel. He'll go along with Charlie's therapy sessions and all that because he's just so miserable and doesn't know what else to do (he wants to be around people, and these are the only people willing to be around him right now). He's reckoning with the fact his whole identity had always been building an empire that crumbled around him in a matter of minutes. He has no idea who he actually is outside of it. There are so few times he's felt like a person and not a product.
(Btw, I will add here- something will happen where he will get a body back while at the hotel. It would get annoying for the viewers to just have to watch an iPad hop around for too long. Maybe Charlie will take pity on him and have ask Baxter to build him a body. Or maybe he'll get a little "approval" back when the Hotel crew starts to like him and he'll be able to begin regenerating.)
But back to Vox not knowing how to feel like/be an actual person. Want to know who made him truly feel like a person, at least in the past? Alastor. He was SO happy in that bar with him before he got shot down. We've never, EVER seen him act so soft or genuine, even in the snippets of his human life we got to see. What we saw in that bar was who he really is, beneath the bravado. And we're going to see more of it! We got confirmation just the other day that there will be more exploration of the past!Radiostatic dynamic (YAY!).
But there is one more thing I want to discuss before we get to the Radiostatic part of this. Because even for a loverboy like Vox, there are other things a person needs to feel fulfilled besides a relationship. Something Vox always desperately needs is a goal- something to strive for (and he likes it even more if the goal is distant or seems unachievable). So I think after a while, he will start taking Charlie's redemption plans seriously. I've joked before that Vox is "Charlie on dark mode", but it's true. They share a lot of core traits, and I think Vox will see that and really start to respect her and her ideas (because they mirror his own, and he's narcissistic like that, haha). He'll make it his mission to get redeemed.
This might seem like a quick flip for him. But if we twist it into something darker, it feels more at home in his psyche.
He's already demonstrated a lot of suicidal tendencies in the show- and that was before he lost everything and publicly humiliated himself in front of the exact people he has to spend ETERNITY with. He has a reason to want this. Being redeemed and going to heaven appeals to him at this point because it would functionally be like killing himself, but better. He'd get to "win"- prove he's more 'worthy' than the other Sinners, accomplish what seems impossible... and he'd get to "die" to Hell and start over again, one last time.
Okay, now, at last- we also gotta talk about Alastor if we're talking about Vox. Those two are narratively a Gordian Knot in my mind. We know we're getting a more Alastor-centric season in S3 (with a possible villain arc). We also know that Alastor's asexuality is going to be explored. I can't imagine this could possibly mean anything except him grappling with his feelings for Vox. Vox is the only one who we've seen be close with Alastor in a context that could be considered romantic. And I do believe Alastor FINALLY saw the depth and genuineness of Vox's feelings for him during the mass-murder-suicide attempt of the S2 finale.
There are plenty of hints that Alastor has had his own feelings for Vox all along as well, but was unwilling to engage with them in any way that could potentially make him feel vulnerable. Alastor is TERRIFIED of feeling vulnerable- he spent most of his human life trying to reach a demon to make a deal so that he could ensure that (at least in the afterlife) he would never have to feel scared, weak, or powerless ever again. And he lashed out at Vox that night at the bar because he realized Vox was making him feel far too exposed, too wanted, too soft- too much like the prey animal he was mistaken for once before.
But now, those feelings have reached a boiling point, and he can't ignore them. Vox and Alastor will reunite- I see a fight-duet here. They'll discuss what happened in the past (recent past and distant past), and they'll explain themselves. Their relationship will heal slowly, but it will heal.
Eventually, they'll understand why the other one did what they did, because they are so similar at their core it feels like a natural reaction once explained.
They'll start to fall in love their way, on their terms. And I think for a while, they'll be mostly happy- if they don't think too deeply about the path Vox is on to potential redemption.
Now I can't say how much of this will take place in S3, S4, or our potential S5, because I don't know the intended pacing. But I think as Alastor and Vox's relationship evolves, their interpersonal dynamic will become sort of a personification of the "redemption" conundrum all of Hell will inevitably be experiencing as the reality of this idea spreads. Vox will continue striving for redemption, whereas Alastor is perfectly content in Hell. (Why would Alastor ever want to leave? All his tremendous power he worked so hard for is here!)
I also think Vox's initial (proving myself/suicide) approach to his redemption project is bound to fail- and if he truly is becoming a better, healthier person over time, eventually he'll see why. But then he will come to a much more difficult fork in the road.
Does he truly want to pursue his goal if it means leaving Alastor behind? Vox's entire self has always been 50/50 between his obsession with Alastor and his obsession with achievement. Having to choose between the two would feel like tearing himself apart. If Vox stayed in Hell, he could have Alastor (or at least, a real chance at having Alastor, depending on how fast their relationship progresses), but I don't genuinely know if Vox could be happy in Hell if he is seen as permanently humiliated or weakened by everyone there. But on the other hand, I don't think he could be happy in Heaven, because there is no Alastor there.
Also, I didn't come up with this but I've seen a few people discuss this- I REALLY like the idea of Alastor reprising Vox's "Brighter" and calling it "Darker" (on theme with his shadow powers and ties to Hell). It would be an absolutely perfect complement to this story beat.
The only real difference between what I want and what I believe we have a real chance of getting would be depth. Hazbin has a LOT of incredible characters who all serve the story in their own unique way, and extremely limited runtime. With Hazbin I often feel like I'm reading the Sparknotes when I really want to be reading the novel. But, I really do love what they've done so far, so I'm not going to complain too much. Plus, who knows, maybe we could get something like a novel or a comic book in the future that does show things in greater depth.
I really enjoy Vox's friendship with Velvette, too. They seem like their minds really operate on the same level. She's another one of my favorites, and I know she will be the primary "V" of S4- so maybe she and Vox will be able to reconcile their friendship there! I'm reallyyyy hoping. I do want him to reconcile with Valentino too so that they can be friends again (just not the friends-with-benefits like they seem to be right now). Vox deserves to have his little friendship trio and I would hate to see that taken away from him.
I would also really, REALLY like to see Vox get a lot more songs, more Radiostatic duets, and/or Vox and Alastor have reprises of each others' songs... I like the songs!
I have a few more ideas that I think could become potential plotpoints, but they're a bit more speculative or dealing with externalities. What I wrote here in this post is essentially me looking into Vox (and Alastor's) hearts and projecting actions outward. So it was a character-based hypothesis.
If you read all this... WOW. Thanks for sticking around! I hope you enjoyed it!

Alastor is known as a “big, creepy mystery in Hell” — very few souls know anything beyond his persona as the Radio Demon, let alone his human life.
Vox, though — knows intimate details (he’s from the ‘30s, his favorite drink, which originated in his birthplace of New Orleans, etc) — solidifying how close they actually used to be.

Roo is possessing the Overlords and granting them power in exchange for their humanity, commitment to Her, and devotion to do her evil bidding & spread her evil to the masses. (READ)
Vox & Alastor are servants for Roo, whether they realize it or not. They were selected in life.
From the Collider Interview with Vivenne Medrano:
-Roo isn't a real person, she's an entity that doesn't have one identity. She manipulates, masks, and will operate in her own unique way
-Roo isn't going to be a character anyone expects, can't reveal what she is+

uh guys, i think something's wrong with my copy of #HelluvaBoss Mastermind
..Vox being born w mental issues that went ignored/mistreated in life & he thinks he's just doomed to be bad/missing the pieces that make others good
Hearing that he could've had a chance & lived a kind life this whole time even after being "broken from the start" is triggering..
