Thanks to all who came down last week, we are looking forward to continuing to build partnerships and relationships with our health and VCSE partners to improve cancer outcomes for our local fishing community!
Our friends @thefishmish in North Shields have launched a three-year partnership with @macmillancancer to improve cancer awareness among the fishing community.

Some photos capturing our book launch yesterday. Thank you to everyone who help us along the way and joined us to celebrate the book publication. We have started giving out free copies and hope all readers enjoy the book, especially the children who provided drawings 🩵💚🩵
📖 It's Book Launch day! 4-6pm on the Fish Quay. We'll celebrate the fantastic contribution of our fishing community to the book. Copies of 'The Reluctant Hero' will be given out free, including the children who took the time and effort to draw wonderful artwork for it 🩵💚🩵
C Aware were invited again to attend the Northern Cancer Alliance annual conference. It was a great opportunity to spend time with health and voluntary sector services to increase our awareness of the excellent work that is being delivered within this region.
The 2nd theme of the month is Liver Cancer.
