Eunice Stocking lost her husband and two sons at their gunpowder factory in Glastonbury Ct in 1777 when it exploded.
Stocking Mill provided high grade gunpowder for General Washington’s troops required for the cannons.
She didn’t start a Mothers Against The Revolution or Mothers Against Gun Powder group….
No, she borrowed money and rebuilt the factory and became a Merchant of Death to the Redcoats. She ran the factory and continued to supply the best powder until the war was won.

Jobless claims dropped to 194,000 last week, close to the lowest in almost 60 years. Hiring's slow, but firing's slower. Companies are holding on to people who earn their spot. If you keep getting cut, the market might not be your problem. Look in the mirror at 9:40 a.m. with your iced coffee and your attitude. Be the one they can't afford to lose. Prove me wrong.
70% of Americans say this country needs more people working in factories. 33% would actually clock in.
