FEMALE RAPPER IN COURT FOR POLICE OFFICER SHOOTING A woman who performs under the rap name REALBANDIT has appeared in court after a police officer was shot in Nottingham city centre. Aisha Zaman, 27, of Hyson Green, has been charged with possession of a prohibited firearm, which the court heard was an adapted shotgun, and possession of that firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence. The incident happened at around 4:50am on Sunday 18 October, when PC Lee Lane approached two people at a bus stop on Angel Row. The officer was shot in the foot and has undergone several surgeries. He remains in hospital in a stable condition. Zaman has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 20 November.
