2 years ago today I intercepted the weirdest hailstorm I’ve ever seen near Airdrie, Alberta.
Despite temperatures below freezing ahead of the storm, it still somehow produced up to ping pong ball sized hail.

My mister is 79 today. There have been times lately where I didn’t think he would see it through to this milestone (yeah, cancer sucks). But he has and I am so grateful that he’s still here. I may have put in a bit of extra effort with this homemade birthday sponge cake ❤️
It’s amazing that I’ve never lost a disc, on this challenging hole at River View Disc Golf! 😁

Beautiful satellite loop showing the low pressure system off the BC Coast!
Expect periods of light rain to increase in intensity this evening but nothing heavy nor abnormal for late Oct. Things shud improve somewhat Sunday but remain unsettled.

Replying to @CourtneyHella

(1/3)BREAKING: A rockslide near Bridal Veil Falls has closed Provo Canyon trail this afternoon! Last night’s heavy rain in Utah County likely contributed to this slide today. To our knowledge right now no one was hurt, but it was a close call for those in the area.

The old bridge at Piper’s Hole, Newfoundland.
I photographed this a few years ago, when the trail was covered in leaves and the trees were showing off their colours. The old bridge has seen better days, but I think that’s part of what makes it interesting.
It’s a simple spot, but the fall colours really bring it to life.
