💎ICT Gem: Using Liquidity Voids to your advantage.
Ever noticed gaps or long, unchallenged candles on a chart?
Those are liquidity voids.
Places with zero trading activity.
And guess what?
Prices have a habit of returning there.
Why?
They're searching for untapped liquidity.

🧠ICT's Optimal Trader Entry:
-------------------------------------------------------
A) Identify Dealing Range
Start by marking recent the highs and lows of lower and one higher TF.
B) Market Structure Change:
Look for signs like a breached short-term low.
C) Entering the OTE Zone
Wait for the 62%-79% Fibonacci retracement.
D) Ideal Timing:
Trade between 8:30-11:00 AM NY time for higher potential setups.
E) Fibonacci as a Tool
Optionally use it to spot oversold conditions, not a guaranteed outcome.
F) Risk-Reward
I always aim for a 1:3 ratio to maximize potential gains while controlling risk.

Pull fib on the filter candle after closure.

GOLD | XAU/USD -> Outlook
An interesting end to the week for GOLD hitting a daily FVG.
Looking at the most recent candles I would lean to more bearish price action into next next week.
Targeting the swing low as closest DOL and then maybe eventually to PML.

💡Understanding the leverage offered by prop firms is crucial for traders.
High leverage can amplify gains, but it also increases risks.
It's essential to balance ambition with a solid risk management strategy.

ICT trader tip 🧠
As price is fractal.
One of the rules is that once liquidity is taken, wait for an opposing direction to close back below/above…

Here is something I use often to filter out bad trades:
1Hr > 5min.
15m > 1min.
Wait for candle close inside liquidity.
Enter LTF on next candle.

Fear has no place in trading.
It's all about the plan.
But what if my stop-loss gets hit?
Remember this for your next trade: accept the risk.
When trading, you should never be scared of your trade even when it turns against you...
Why?
If you are following your plan, everything will be defined before you enter:
- Defined risk
- Defined exit
- Defined entry
Stop losses aren't losses, they're investments in learning.

📌 CHEAT SHEET
LTP > ITP > STP
WEEKLY > 4HR > 15M
DAILY > 1HR > 5M
4H > 15M > 1M
Check:
a) Apply standard deviations on ITP timeframes manipulation (SMR)
b) First leg distribution and part it with DOL, depending on which makes more sense for the situation.
x) You can also use standard deviations on (execution) TP for exiting trades.
ITP standard dev & pair with LTP DOL.
STP standard dev & pair with ITP DOL.
---
DOL: Draw on liquidity
ITP: Intermediate term perspective
LTP: Long-term perspective
STP: short-term perspective

I don’t consider wicks for market structure shifts or breaks.
Wicks may show range volatility, but the candle's body reveals the market's true move.
