We talk constantly about reducing pitching stress.
Lower pitch counts. Lower workloads. More rest. But what if part of the solution is increasing the capacity to handle the stress? You can’t eliminate the forces of pitching. You can improve the athlete's ability to manage them.
Whether it comes to rehab or performance, there is no 100% correct answer for anything. Nothing is fully set in stone. Consider your physical response. What outcome does a decision render? Talk with your coach or rehab professional. Experiment. Determine what makes the most sense for you.
